NaMeX is a neutral, not-for-profit internet exchange point located in Rome, Italy that was founded in 1995. It has 38 members including large national ISPs, local ISPs, international carriers, and content providers. NaMeX provides peering and carrier interconnection services, exchanging over 12Gbps of traffic annually. Its services include public and private peering through VLANs, route server infrastructure, and additional services such as DNS replication and BGP monitoring tools.
