Strategies for Unlocking Knowledge Management in Microsoft 365 in the Copilot...
Prototype
1. We are searching a good way for motivating a student, who is on 7th year
at uni and wants to be graduated by passing all the courses within this year.
Most practical idea is putting warnings to areas where he is distracted.
2. 1 > In case his thoughts are wandering
astray..
A note posted on the corner of the
monitor saying “BE HERE NOW!”
3. 2 > In case he is trying to take his phone,
a note posted on cover of the mobile
saying “You’d better KEEP STUDYING”
4. 2 > In case he opens the flip cover, the
lock screen image has been changed with
a quote telling
“The reason so many people are not suc-
cessful is because they spend too much time
on their secondary activities, time wasters
and hobbies, that they don't have time to
perform work that will get them where they
want to go in life. Jerry Bruckner ”

Note sizes
Positions of the warnings
Turn of phrases
At the beginning of the study, the warning
messages worked and extended continious
working time 10~15 minutes more.
When they didn’t work
The student started ignoring warning
messages as it get late.. Then he started
to check his mobile like a duty.
Putting several warnings for same objective
e.g. not post the note just on the monitor, hang a
poster of it!
You may observe where the student looks at first
when distracted, and focus on those areas. You
may put the poster there?
You may think about the distance for the text legi-
bility. You would even prevent him taking his
mobile to hand..
If you are not good at writing motivating notes,
keep those notes to yourself unless you improve
your ability. You can use quotes instead.
How can you prevent student ignoring messag-
es?
How did you decide to put the note on left
corner of the monitor? As per the experiences,
it is not always the first place he looks at when
he is distracted..
How did you decide the note colour & size that
you posted? Are you sure they are big enough?
Why the phrase is..“You’d better...”? Are you
threatening?? You may find something racier.
