Examples of psychological hazards include work-related stress from overwork or excessive hours, violence from outside the organization, bullying and verbal or emotional abuse from coworkers or managers, sexual harassment, burnout, and exposure to unhealthy behaviors from business meetings like tobacco use or excessive alcohol. Psychological hazards can lead to stressed workers and conflicts between coworkers who have differing ideas.
