The Company
The British government has
been using Barings’ assets in
order to financially help the war.
• The head derivative who is known as
Nick Leeson had implemented
unauthorized trading and ultimately
catastrophic activities in Singapore.
• Baring had operated
with no supervisions
from London.
3. MACROENVIRONMENT
Economic
Kobe Earthquake struck 6500 people were killed in one of the deadliest natural
disasters to hit the development of the world, 25 percentage of Japan GDP was
wiped out, and Lesson lost million.
The documentary explores the cultures of Baring and of the financial markets
during the 1990's and how Nick Leeson was able to cause another huge loss
money to the bank, the time bankrupting the company.
