INTRODUCTION
In this poster I’m going to explain the
nervous system, its components and all
the parts that form it.
NEURONS
The neurons are cells that compose the
nervous system. It’s work is transmit
information using nerves and nerve
impulses. (they use a little electric shock).
ELECTRIC SHOCK
Between neurons there is a space called
synapse.
For transmitting the electric shock it uses
chemical substances called
neurotransmitters.
Peripheral Nervous System
The peripheral nervous system
consists of the nerves that branch out
and are distributed throughout the
body. There are two types of nerves.
• ·Sensory nerves: Receptors in the
central nervous system.
• · Motor nerves: From the nervous
central to effectors.
NEURON CELL
The glia cells are interspersed
between neurons, and protect,
insulate and feed
NERVOUS CENTRAL SYSTEM
It is formed by the brain and spinal
cord.
brain
Brain: A conscious information
received from receivers, analyzes and
prepares orders that direct our
volunteer activities.
Cerebellum: has the function of
coordinate the voluntary movements
of learning.
Medulla: Controls involuntary
functions.
Spinal cord
The spinal cord functions primarily in
the transmission of neural signals
between the brain and the rest of the
body but also contains neural circuits
that can independently control lots of
reflexes and central pattern
generators.
