AMSEC Australia Pty Ltd designed, supplied, installed, and provisioned an integrated system upgrade for Caulfield Hospital. The upgrade included installing a new Tecom Challenger security management system and GENETEC CCTV system. These systems were chosen for their advanced features and ability to scale for large commercial installations. AMSEC also installed analog and IP cameras, access control devices, networking equipment, and provided documentation and training for the new system.

INTEGRATED SYSTEM UPGRADE WORKS
Overview
AMSEC Australia Pty Ltd designed to the extent specified, supplied,
installed and provisioning for a future upgrade in partnership with the
Caulfield Hospital.
The newly formed delivery team supplied preliminary design,
installation and commissioned recommendations a new Tecom
Challenger Security Management upgrade and along with a second
delivery partner installed the GENETEC CCTV System.
The systems were chosen because it was an advanced security
solution designed for commercial and corporate sectors and is the
perfect solution for the security requirements of hospitals and other
facilities. Challenger is a modular system which can be scaled for
almost any application, from small to large commercial installations.
With thousands of programmable options, Challenger has been
designed to meet any security and access requirement and can be
tailored to your own security policies.
Challenger’s modular architecture provides superior flexibility and
reliability when it comes to designing a new system or adding to an
existing one.
Challenger’s access control functionality is distributed across multiple
devices for additional reliability. Door interlocking, nested anti‐
passback, dual custody, lift control, card and PIN, time and
attendance, disabled user access, multiple card format support and
macro logic functionality are just some of the industry‐leading
features incorporated into Challenger access controllers.
Challenger’s unique integration of intrusion and access control allows
for superior functionality. Intrusion areas can be controlled using only
access cards while access control events can be communicated to
management software or central monitoring stations.

which saved on training time and provides a smooth learning curve,
allowing users to focus on their job.
The GENETEC Omnicast is the IP video management system of the
Security Centre platform that provides organizations of all sizes the
ability to deploy a surveillance system that truly matches their security
needs.
With support for a wide range of industry‐leading cameras, encoders
and CCTV equipment, Omnicast scales and adapts to the changing
demands of the hospitals ever growing security department.

Change Management techniques in relation to new works to minimise
client interruption.
