So many things are now toys along with being beneficial in the work environment. Management is now having to monitor employees more closely to ensure the employees are staying on track and not wasting time playing or taking care of personal business.
In today’s world so many people have Facebook accounts. Facebook can affect management in a few ways. One way is that is can serve as a tool for screening employee candidates. It can also be a distraction for employees while at work. It can also have some ethical situations occur if employees or boss and employee start an inappropriate relationship through this social media site.
Since the progression of computers, businesses have been able to really start communicating with their employees better along with business partners and customers. With the creation of email, it has made so many things quicker that will help everyone in the long run.
Because of the information age, management and employees now have to have at minimal basic computer knowledge. For any kind of upper management position the employee needs to have advanced computer skills. These are always changing and people have to continue to gain knowledge to keep up with this always changing skill set.
