Plastic is a very popular material, and

The use of compostable bags, paper, cardboard are promoted. But there are another reusable
shopping bags with bigger thickness that they have to be made at least with the 50 per cent
from recycled plàstic.

there will be a tax in order to reduce its use, and non reusable plastic packaging.(beverage

The tax consists on 0,45 euros per kilo in its production, importation and acquisition. The law
also hardens the penalties related to waste.

They will use sustainable products,

They have to provide drinking water sources available to workers and visitors in workplaces.
Single use plastic drinks should not be supplied at public meetings and events.

encourage the reusable packaging because plastic, glass, aluminium last longer. Fast food or
take away food containers must be made with paper or cardboard.
In our supermarkets, they don’t give plastic bags, they are prohibited, but you have to pay 5
cents if you need one, that is biodegradable.
In different sections, grocery, butchery,.. compostable plastic bags are provided. These are
made of vegetal starch.
