2. I chose Yellow and extension.
• During this powerpoint I am going to analysis
two previous students who also studied media
studies. As well as this, I am going to move on
to the extension comparing the two blogs and
giving constructive criticism. Hopefully
allowing this criticism to take place, I will not
make the same mistakes.
3. Vera Osei’s As media blog.
• This simple blog is an
advantage for Vera as
she started her blog
from Monday 12th
September which is the
start of the year
• Also she included her
first impressions which
looked like she took her
time to express hoe she
felt rather than a short
blog
• She also broke her
subject matters into
bits rather than a
paragraph which shows
her consideration for
clear points which is
better for the examiner
4. Examiners Knowledge
• The simple listing of
blogs throughout the
year which is
consistent is a way of
which the examiner is
impressed in and loves
to see as it shows how
you update your blog.
5. Vera Osei’s As media Blog.
• Advantage-Vera successfully
embedded her videos onto
her blog allowing her videos
to be seen
• Dis advantage-Although Vera
presented her video well she
named her video
Assignment2 and never
thought to include a brief
explanation of what is was
about as the examiner may
be slightly confused.
6. Vanessa Justino’s As media blog.
• Vanessa uploads an
assessment of what her
peers had written as
well as her teacher.
This is good as the blog
includes her tracking
her targets and also
recording both good
points and poor points.
7. Examiners Knowledge
• Just like Vera, Vanessa has kept her blog
up to date throughout the year allowing
the blog to positively build up.
• Looking at the Blog archive you can see
that Vanessa herself kept her dates in
order and there are no gaps in the dates
which needed to be filled in.
8. Advantages and disadvantages.
• Advantage-her
work was
presented and
structured
well.
• Disadvantage-
unfortunately
she didn’t
embed her
evaluation
properly
9. Comparisons.
• WWW-they both have an understanding of
how to structure and upload work onto their
blog successfully and keeping work up to date.
• EBI- Vera could of spend a little bit more time
touching elements of her blog allowing minor
mistakes eliminated, such as more brief
descriptions.
• Vanessa- could spend a little more time
double checking if all uploads were successful.
