Mass transit updates
AMO – Partnership with Bi-State
• Ameren built a new substation next to the Brentwood Metro
Bus facility to support Bi-State fleet electrification.
(14) 60’ articulated BEBs, New Flyer
• 330 kWh battery
• Depot and on-route charging, to enable long runs
(10) 40’ BEBs, GILLIG
• 330 kWh battery
• Alternating routes, goal 175 miles/day
• Brentwood depot charging only. Deer Creek Sub
AIC – Initial conversations with Bi-State underway
• Bi-State has expressed interest in fleet electrification in the
AIC service territory using a similar approach as is being taken
in AMO service territory.
• Developing further outreach to transit agencies on Rider
EVCP Transit Facility program.

School bus updates
AMO – Feasibility Studies being worked with multiple school
districts.
• Feasibility study pilot being performed for Hazelwood School District
in partnership with EPRI and Micro Grid Labs as part of
Incubatenergy Labs.
• Working with to analyze additional school fleets.
AIC - Supporting electric school bus adoption.
•Two electric buses are in operation in the Hollis and Pekin School
Districts.
•Three electric busses coming soon to Triad School District.
•Supporting state VW fund electric school bus grant applications.
• Developing further outreach to school districts on Rider EVCP
Education Facility program.
Following the Infrastructure and Jobs Act (IIAJ) Clean School Bus developments closely and will be ready to encourage &
support school districts in making transitions.
