This document provides instructions for integrating Cisco Call Manager with Cisco IM and Presence. It includes steps for configuring a SIP trunk between the two systems, creating end users, assigning phone lines and the IM service, and configuring the Cisco Jabber client. The full configuration involves settings in Cisco Call Manager for the SIP trunk, users, and lines as well as settings in Cisco IM and Presence for the Call Manager gateway and CCMCIP profile.

• Configuring SIP Trunk to Cisco IM and Presence

• Assign phone and Line to User
6. • Choose Non Secure SIP Profile
• Copy
• Rename Non Secure SIP Profile for IM and Presence
• Check box
• Accept presence subscription
• Accept out-of-dialog refer
• Accept unsolicited notification
• Accept replaces header
7. DEVICE > TRUNK > ADD NEW
• Write Device name (For Example SIPTrunkForIMandPresence)
• Write IP Address of IM&Presence server in Destination Field.You can use FQDN in you
configured DNS server. Best Practise use IP Address
• SIP Trunk Security Profile choose SIP Trunk Security Profile which we created early
8. CREATE END USER
• User Management > End User > New End User
• Fill all necessary fields
• Assign Standard CCME End Users and
Standard CTI Enabled role
9. IM USER SERVICE
• User Management > User Settings > UC Service > Add New
• Write Name (For Example IMandPresence)
• IP Address (IP address of your IM and Presence Server )
• Create new one
• Name “CTI”
• IP address (IP Address of your Call Manager)
10. USER MANAGEMENT > USER SETTINGS > SERVICE PROFILE > ADD NEW
• Write Name ( For Example IMandPresence )
11. ASSIGN USER SERVICE TO END USER
• Add Phone
• Choose owner of phone
• Add Line
• Assign Line to User
12. ADD CISCO JABBER CLIENT
• Choose Cisco Unified Client Services Framework
• Write name CSF(EndUser Name ) ( for example CSFemina )(End User “emina”)
• Choose owner (End User )
• Primary Phone
• Digest User (End User same as Owner User)
• Add Line, assign to End User
13. CISCO IM AND PRESENCE CONFIGURATION
• Presence > Gateways > Add New
• Write name (Fro example Presence)
• Presence gateway ( IP address of Cisco Call Manager )
14. • Application > CCMCIP Profile > Add New
• Write Name ( For Example “CCMCIP”)
• Primary CCMCIP Host “IP address of Cisco Call Manager “
• Use the same for BackUp Host
• Add Users
15. CISCO JABBER
• Server address (Cisco IM and PresenceIP adress)
• Domain (IM and Precense Domain)
• Username and password
