The B corp searches for a triple impact: do business
from solutions relevant to social and environmental
problems.
During 2013, Ematris decided to reaffirm its goal and
values as a firm, certifying itself as a B corp. By so,
we would like to redefine the sense of achievement in
trades. The financial profitability is not Ematris’ reason
to be, however it is an instrument to achieve social
and environmental impacts for the society and its
surroundings.
In 2015, we started the process of re-certification,
reaching for more than the one from 2013, thanks to
the strategy that included a series of ways that
strengthen our goal and respect for the society and
environment.

collective fundings for projects of clean
energies and of LaCuota.com, web service
of GroupePayments. He worked as
commercial director of Andes Ventus, firm
developing projects of renewable energies.

7. ELENA BARINDELLI
Consultant
Biochemist and Master in Technological
Management, mention Biotechnology (c)
from the Universidad of Santiago de Chile;
graduated in Management in Market-
Oriented Innovation. She has worked as a
biochemist at the USACH, investigating for
soils phytoremediation, at the UNAB in
identification of the mealiness genes of the
stone fruits and at the INTA (U. de Chile)
studying on hormonal treatments in
exported fruits.

in addition to experience in studies,
procedures and enterprise policies.
LUCÍA MÉNDEZ
Audiovisual Director
Audiovisual Communicator, License in
Communication at the Universidad de las
Americas. She also has experience in
cinema, television, advertisement and
corporative videos. She spent 6 years at
the edition and post-production rubric for
clients like Atómica, Magnética, N11,
BBVA, Mango Films, Noise Media,
Nestlé, Movistar, Land Rover, La
Tercera, Ripley, Capel, Homecenter,
Homy, Opposite, y Foster.
FRANCIS TOVAR
Consultant
Licensed in Business Administration at the
Universidad Tecnológica del Centro,
Venezuela, certified in projects
management from the Univ. José Antonio
Páez, Venezuela. She has been the
President of the local comity of AIESEC
UNITEC, in charge of the management of
the relation with the principal interest
groups. She took part of the institutional
communication of ACREDITAR, a Brazilian
NGO which sustains initiatives of
entrepreneurship through microcredits.
