Literature review
For this literature review a book written by Michael A. Stelzner , titled “2015 Social Media
Marketing Industry Report” and the subtitle “How Marketers Are Using Social Media to Grow
Their Business” has been taken. Here the author give industry report on social media marketing
as well as a useful discussion on the ways in which the marketers use social media in order to
develop their business. According to the author the social media marketers want to learn more
about Facebook in order to improve their Facebook activities as well as the marketers plan to
enhance the activities on Facebook that help them in more social media marketing. However,
most of the marketers are not sure about the effectiveness of their Facebook advertisement and
marketing activities. As per the author the video contents are becoming vital for the social media
marketing as it has more impact on the audience in comparison to other image or animation
contents (A. Stelzner, 2015). According to the author the social media has several benefits such
as it enhance the exposure of the organization, increased the traffic of the consumers, it helps in
developing loyal customers base, it provides the proper insight of the market place, helps in
generating leads, improve search ranking etc. Most of the social media marketers use the social
media websites like Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn for developing the loyal customers’ base which
provide significant competitive advantages to the business organization. It helps in improving the
sales volume of the company and improves the profitability of the company and provides
significant contribution in the development and growth of the organization.
