AROUND MEASURE
   Look around you, and see
   how marvelous GOD is…
Opening Prayer
Oh Lord,
Receive our supplications,
Help me, as a student, to see your love around every
   measure and everything.
Help me to be sensitive to others who surrounds me…
Let me build wide perimeter of friends, love, reputation,
   and dignity.
Light me to do Good so I may live in your city… As a
   person of fairness and loveliness.
I will continue, Oh my God, to do all my actions for the
   Love of you.
                                                   AMEN.
Learning Thrusts:

• To define perimeter,
• To find and use perimeter in solving real-life problems,
• To foresee the importance of perimeters in building a
  great city,
• To be grateful that God prepared the Holy City, the
future residence of those who believe and follow Him,
• To be a Christ-centered Person,
• To solve for the perimeter of the basic planes, and
• To apply perimeter in solving real-life problems.
Revelation 21:15-17
• How will you describe the city which was
  built in the scripture?
• Do you desire to live in the city prepared by
  God? Why?
• In what way will you qualify yourself to be
one of the people who will live in the
  proposed city?

             the square garden?
150 fences
             Answer: 150 fences times 4.
If we must provide 6 inches spaces
between two fences, how many fences will
be utilized?

If the president want to guard the
malacanang with the length of 250 meters
and the width of 200 meters, how many
guards are needed to surround the whole
palace? For every 5 meters, a guard is
assigned to surveillance.
How will you calculate for the
 perimeter of a given figure?
  What operation is used in
          perimeter?
Exercises:
• A triangular piece of paper
  measures 8cm, 12cm, and 15 cm.
What is the perimeter in cm of the
  piece of paper?
• A rectangular tablecloth has a
  width 1.5m and a length of 2.8m.
  How many meters of lace
  trimmings should be bought to
  make its borders?
Exercises:
• The perimeter of a square park is
180 meters. What is the length of
the side of the square park?
• The perimeter of a rectangular
notebook is 32 inches. The length
of the notebook is two less than
  twice its width. Find the
  dimensions of the notebook.
