I herewith declare that Mr. Elias Naline Shumiski holds the position of Director of New
Business and as such, exercise executive functions in Fundição Vista Azul Indústria e Comércio
de Metais Ltda. As part of the activities carried out by Mr. Shumiski I highlight:
- participation in decision making and strategic planning of the company in Brazil, as well as in
the decision and planning of business expansion in other countries;
- participation in the approval of the annual budget of the company in Brazil and in the
investments to business expansion in other countries;
- acting as spokesman and representative of the company at external events and meetings
with customers, suppliers and government agencies;
- participation in the development and approval of the annual operating plan containing
strategic guidelines;
- participation in the adoption of strategic guidelines and targets for the “KPI – Key
Performance Indicator” to be achieved by the managers of the departments of the company;
- reviewing policies and internal rules, and to propose changes to these policies and standards,
such as the policies of: Quality, Commercial, Credit, Human Resources, etc.;
- regular meetings with managers to assess performance and results;
- revision of the hierarchical structure of the company, suggesting modifications throughout
the structure and acting directly on the adequacy of the structure and operational
management;
- analysis of legal and commercial contracts of the company, and its revisions, as well as the
approval of new contracts.
The daily routine of Mr. Shumiski can be briefly classified and measured as follows:

- Executive Strategic Management (50%) = definition of new local and global businesses,
setting budget for new local and global businesses, the definition of restructuring of the
management team, approving policies and internal rules, approval of new suppliers of
products and services, etc.;
- Executive Managerial Management (40%) = monitoring and evaluating the performance of
the activities by managers, analysis of the results (KPI – Key Performance Indicators and
reports), periodic meetings, etc.;
- Executive Operational Management (10%) = participation in: meetings, external events, fairs
and seminars, etc.
Mr. Shumiski is a professional with extensive experience in Executive Management of
companies, serving as director for 10 years, especially for companies in the manufacturing
sector. Mr. Shumiski develop the activities assigned to him in a fair an professional way, with
nothing to discredit him.
