Welcome to Arts 10 Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) Module on Modern Arts!
Making every learner appreciate the work of arts and make their own canvass
inspired output is the ultimate goal of this module. To have your own output you
must know the concept of Impressionism, to identify the message of different
paintings. This module contains self-paced activities designed for your own
convenient with the materials included in this module the learner will apply
his/her background knowledge and experiences.
Notes to the Teacher:
As facilitators of 21st
century learners, you are expected to extend your
effort in elaborating so you could appropriately assess the learning of your
students by the use of modern technologies that we have now and as millenial
teacher we are expected to be innovative at all times to pursue the mission and
vision of the Department of Education . Please apply necesarry and important
assessment tools found in this module to help learners regulary monitor their
progress and development as it is a need for today’s challenging new normal
way of living. Thus, always find time to encourage and assist the students to
make the learning more essential.

life. As the pandemic occur and considered a threat to the humanity, we still care
and value education! It is the main reason why we made this module designed
for you in order to continue the learning process. As you go through the page,
you will discover more about modern art and you will appreciate this module due
to its easy format.
As a learner your role is to read, analyse and answer activities given in
this module. To make this possible you need to be patient and give your full
attention in doing the activities .Since it is an art, you need to use your creative

The Quarter I – Module 1 is divided into five lessons, namely:

 Lesson 2 – Modern Artist Representatives and some Filipino Counterparts
 Lesson 3 – Artworks Mood and Idea
 Lesson 4 – Role of Modern Art
 Lesson 5 – History of the Various Movements
After going through this module, you are expected to:
1. analyses art elements and principles in the production of work following a
specific art style from the various art movements
2. identifies distinct characteristics of arts from the various art movements
3. identifies represent artists and Filipino counterparts from the various art
movement
4. reflects on the derive mood, idea, or message from selected artworks
5. explains the role or function of artworks by evaluating their utilization and
combination of art elements and principles
6. uses artworks to derive the traditions/history of the various art movements

  • 7. What this Module all About Introductory Message Welcome to Arts 10 Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) Module on Modern Arts! Making every learner appreciate the work of arts and make their own canvass inspired output is the ultimate goal of this module. To have your own output you must know the concept of Impressionism, to identify the message of different paintings. This module contains self-paced activities designed for your own convenient with the materials included in this module the learner will apply his/her background knowledge and experiences. Notes to the Teacher: As facilitators of 21st century learners, you are expected to extend your effort in elaborating so you could appropriately assess the learning of your students by the use of modern technologies that we have now and as millenial teacher we are expected to be innovative at all times to pursue the mission and vision of the Department of Education .
