0 The most popular radio station was ‘Kiss FM’, therefore this would be a key
radio stations to play our advert on.
0 ‘XFM” also proved more popular a with the male candidates asked, so reach
a wider audience XFM would be good in attracting male audience members.
0 Radio 1 although appearing popular is BBC owned and therefore doesn’t
play adverts so we can’t play our ad there.
0 When we asked when they were most likely to listen to the radio, in the car
in the morning and evening while working were the most popular
responses.
0 We should aim to advertise in the evening so that the advert is likely to stick
in the listeners mind, increasing the chance of them watching our program.
0 Morning time is also a prime time for people travelling listening to radio, as
well as times when schools are out so students can listen while stdying or
travelling home from college/school.
