What’s new in v13

2. - New features reported by ChangeLog file: 207 (including 37 for developers)
Summary of v13.0

3. Very few minor things were introduced in the Look And Feel v13 compared to v12 :
○ Show photo of each user in combo list to select a user, show flags in
combo list of languages or countries.
○ Add a picto for some common fields (email, phone, …) on forms.
○ Show status of object into the popup visible when mouse is hover a
reference.
○ Setting color of an element of the theme is immediately visible as a
preview.
○ Use a different symbol for online doc link when there is a page dedicated
to current screen.

4. A lot of bug fixes or enhancements related to security, reported after a bug bounty
campaign have been introduced into v13.
○ Around 80 reports of security researchers were processed inside v13.
○ 40 more commits related to possible vulnerabilities were merged.

5. ● Can create a third-party customer directly from TakePOS.
● Show available stock on product lines.
● Can pay with delayed payments.
● Support of foreign currencies.
● Keep the numero of terminal as the default value for the next login on the
same terminal.

6. ● Add more bulk action (set category on a website page, delete draft invoice,
delete events...)
● More predefined Export profiles. More predefined Import profiles (proposals,
sales orders, supplier invoices)
● Accountancy: More options to define default values.
● Add 2 rules for the Email-Collector feature: “Message sent from Dolibarr” /
”not sent from Dolibarr”
● Add a page to list Stock at a given date in the past
● Support documents generation for Tickets (PDF and ODT)
● Add the workflow interaction “close intervention on closing ticket”.

7. ● Expense Report: Add a page to set mileage charges and some rules on the
maximum amount you can declare (Testers wanted).
● Can set reminders in events of the agenda : email reminders and/or browser
popup reminders (Testers wanted)
● A better currency rate editor.
● Can set the size of the logo on PDF documents.
● Can change VAT rate of ALL lines of a draft object in one step.
● Can set tags/categories to website pages.
● Can use the desired stock of a given warehouse for replenishment.
● Option “several price per levels” compatible with “use of Variants”.

8. ● Support for Samba4 AD in the LDAP Module.
● A lot of other minor enhancements in all modules… (see ChangeLog.md)

9. ● Removed a lot of deprecated code.
● More REST APIs.
● More Hooks.
● More PHPUnit tests.
● More Substitution variables.
● Add function dolButtonToOpenUrlInDialogPopup() to allow to open any URL
inside a popup (used for the media manager in website module for example).
● Enhancement of modulebuilder :
○ Can use dynamic code inside the property “enabled” of the fields of a table.
○ Add property “csslist”, “cssview” when declaring the fields of an object. These properties will
be used for fields on list or on view mode.
○ Add property “picto” to add a picto before input field on forms.

10. ● As usual, automatic migration from any old version is supported.
Except for the DoliWamp package (auto-installer for Windows) that is
able to migrate only installation from DoliWamp package >= 12.0
A solution to migrate older DoliWamp installation is to make a backup,
install the new package and restore data.
● Still compatible with any PHP version >= 5.6 and <= 7.4.*
Compatibility with 8.0 is on the road but may not be ready for release.

11. ● Similar to the “Direct debit SEPA” module but but the vendor invoices
=> Flag your vendor invoices to be paid by Credit Transfer
=> Generate the SEPA file
=> Submit the SEPA file to your bank
=> Set the files as processed to automatically record payments and set the
invoices to paid.

12. ● Similar to the module “Shipment” but for Vendor orders
=> Allow to follow receptions of products with a PDF documents for each
reception.

13. ● First module to help to generate reports for intracomm import or exports
(Support for France document only for the moment)

=> Solution to interface Dolibarr with more than 2000+ applications

15. ● Record Job positions.
● Use the public page to publish them.
● Record applications or let the Email collector record them from your received
emails.
● Follow the status of each job applications.
● Convert the record of the recruited applicant into a user.
