I want to open up a franchise fast food restaurant in washington?
1. I want to open up a franchise fast food restaurant in
washington?
Write up a business plan and be sure people in the area would like that chain and style of food. If
you want Miami-style food, a cuban sandwich shoppe might be a better idea. If you do, try to use
real cheese, not processed. The one near my house sucks b/c it uses inferior quality products.
20 STEPS TO BECOMING A MIAMI SUBS PIZZA GRILL FRANCHISE OWNER
Fall in love with the idea of owning a Miami Subs Pizza Grill franchise.
Miami Subs Franchising Corp. receives your completed Franchise Application.
You will meet with a representative of the Franchise Department at our World Headquarters in Fort
Lauderdale, Florida. At that time, you will receive a Miami Subs Pizza Grill Franchise Disclosure
Document which describes our corporate history and the key points of the franchise relationship. We
will ask you to fill out, sign, and return the receipt for the disclosure document. Next is a tour of
local Miami Subs Pizza Grill restaurants, where you will be able to see our exciting concept in
action.
Now that you really love our food, our attitude and our desire for you to succeed, you are ready to
proceed further. Miami Subs Franchising Corp. will require a $10,000 Application Fee.
Your qualifications and geographic area of interest will be submitted to the Miami Subs Pizza Grill
Franchise Review Board for consideration. As part of the approval process, you will be required to
interview with key members of the Approval Committee who will review your qualifications and
objectives with you.
We will notify you after the Franchise Review Board has examined your candidacy to become a
Miami Subs Pizza Grill Franchisee. If approved, you will be sent either a Miami Subs Pizza Grill
Franchise Agreement or a Miami Subs Pizza Grill Area Development Agreement (ADA). To proceed
to the next step you must sign the Franchise Agreement and/or ADA and pay the balance of the
initial fees.
For an International Area Development Agreement granting a protected territory, a fee is required
in an amount that varies depending upon specific market factors.
2. After you have signed the Franchise Agreement or the ADA, we will supply you with Site Submittal
Packages, which will provide you with guidelines and procedures for identifying potential restaurant
locations. You will be responsible for completing these packages and returning them to the Head
Office. The Company may also have locations under contract (in a geographical area) that you may
be interested in acquiring.
You will have 90 days from the date of the Franchise Agreement to locate and submit a suitable site
for your Miami Subs Pizza Grill franchise location.
If, after visiting the proposed site, our representatives believe the basic criteria has been met, the
site will be submitted for consideration to the Real Estate Review Board. You will then be notified
whether the Company consents to the development of a Miami Subs Pizza Grill restaurant at your
proposed location.
You must provide, within 180 days from the date of the Franchise Agreement, a lease, sub-lease or
real estate purchase contract for the proposed site.
This is the time you should begin finalizing the financing process.
Since the Company has consented to the real estate transaction, we will provide floor plans and
equipment layouts for the location. If it is a re-model situation, you will then have a local architect or
engineer develop a working set of drawings. After receiving our consent to proceed, you can pursue
a building permit and begin construction.
Before you begin construction of your location, you will have several development meetings in order
to revise the plans and make sure that the design, layout, equipment, décor, neon signage, etc., are
properly reviewed and understood.
A total of at least 3 people from your organization who will occupy management positions must
attend and successfully complete the 6-week Certified Training Program. The program is held at our
World Headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and in Miami Subs Pizza Grill stores conveniently
located near corporate headquarters. Training Manuals and supplementary instruction materials will
be provided to you at this time.
The Company will review your construction progress and assist with the equipment ordering
process.
You will start your Pre-Opening and Store Opening Program. The restaurant will open after the
Company has confirmed that all of the essential steps have been taken to give your restaurant the
best possible opportunity for a smooth opening.
Meetings will take place (prior to opening) with our Operations and Marketing staff to ensure that
you are ready for your first customer.
Together, we will open another Miami Subs Pizza Grill restaurant!
Now that you're a Miami Subs Pizza Grill Franchise Owner, it's time to set your sites on becoming
