1. The Army Restores Stability and Security to Alakila District in the
Countryside of Damascus
Units of the Arab Syrian army restored the stability and the security to
AlakilaAvenue in Hujera town in the countryside of Damascus and it
dismantled scores of explosive bombs that were planted by terrorists in
the houses of citizens. Other units eliminated terrorist groups from
Jabhit Al-Islam and Saudis in Barzzeh and Domma, where it destroyed
heavy machine guns, weapons and ammunition.
The Competent Authorities Eliminated terrorists attacked Nubul
and Alzahraa towns ā¦and it destroyed the gatherings of terrorists
in Idleb
In cooperation with the residents, unit of the army faced terrorist
groups, includingChechens, who attacked Nubul and Alzahraa towns in
the countryside of Damascus and it confiscated pick-up car that was
equipped with aheavymachine gunandmachine gunPKCthrower"RPGā,a
German-made sniper and 3 military rifles and offensive and defensive
grenades.
In Aleppo and its countryside, other units eliminated terrorists and it
destroyed their weapons and their ammunition in AlsheikMaksoud,
Alashrafiah near Africano restaurant.
The competent authority executed many operations against terrorists
and it killed large number of them and it destroyed their weapons in
many towns and the countryside of Idlep.
2. Terrorists fired on a passengersā Bus in the countryside of Homs
ā¦and The Elimination of armed terrorist groups in the countryside
of Hama
A citizen was martyred and others were wounded because of firing on
the passengersā bus by terrorist group while itās passing near the factory
of blanks in the countryside of Homs.
Another unit of the armed forces chased terrorist gatherings in Homs
and its countryside and it inflicted them heavy losses, and it found a
tunnel that its length 500 meter which extends from Bab Houd till
JoratAlsheiah and its height is 170 cm.
Also, Units of the army eliminated terrorist groups in Hama and its
towns in the villages of Almadik and it destroyed weapons, heavy
machine guns and ammunition.
Decree allocates average of not more than 10% of scientific missions to sons of
the martyrs
President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday issued legislative decree no. 44 for
2013 allocating an average of no more than 10% of the scientific
missions which would be specified in the announcement of the scientific
missions to the sons of the martyrs.
The decree also allocated an average of no more than 10% of the
scholarships to sons of the martyrs in light of the rules of item B of the
article 19 of the scientific missions' law as well as the scholarships of the
Syrian private universities allocated for the higher education ministry.
3. Starting the work of 1221 Teachers of education college
graduates
The ministry of education approved to employ 1221teachers of the
education college in (the term of thirdsemester) in the year 2o11-2012.
The ministry explained, inits resolution that was issued yesterday, that
the involved people in the employing will start their works in the
beginning of the year 2013-2014.
Transferred Medical Clinic in Hama
The ministry of health provided the directorate of Hamaās health with a
transferred medical clinic for supporting the services of the health care.
The minister of health doctor Saad Al-Naeef mentioned that this clinic is
considered the first of its kind in the directorate of Hama health and the
main target of it is for presenting the diagnostic and therapeutic
services and securing the necessary medicines for the patients with
chronicdiseasessuch as diabetesandstress (hyper tension), free and
providing the patient referral services to hospitals and specialized
health centers.
Almalikiā¦Arming the opposition will lead to spread chaos
in the region
The Iraqi Prime MinisterNouriAlmaliki asserted that the vision of his
country about the Syrian crisis isby the political and diplomatic solution
and the non-intervention in its internal affairs. Also, he affirmed the
position of his country that rejects the arming of the Syrian opposition,
because this will cause the chaos in the region especially if the weapons
were sent to the extremist organization like Jabhat Al-Nusra which is
affiliated to al-Qaeda organization. During a conference in Bagdad

and there is no country can be a substitute for the will of the Syrians.
FIJI send further 380 troops among UNDOF force
FIJI has announced it will send a further 380 troops to join a UN peacekeeping
force in the Golan Heights, lifting the Pacific nation's contribution to 562.
Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama says the additional soldiers will head to Golan
Heights in the next few weeks, they'll leave before the end of this month.
Al-Laham calls to unify the Syrian- Algerian stances for the two countriesā
benefits
Speaker of the People's Assembly, Mohammad Jihad al-Laham stressed during a
meeting on Sunday the Algerian popular delegation comprising political, academic
and scientific figures currently visiting Syria, al-Laham underscored the depth of
historical relations between Syria and Algeria.
He urged vitalizing cooperation between the People's Assembly and the Algerian
Parliament for unifying their stances in the common interests of Syria and Algeria,
stressing the need to acquaint the delegation with the facts on the ground so as
to convey the true image to the Algerian people.
Head of the delegation, Abdul-MajidHamedi affirmed the Algerian people's
solidarity with the Syrians against the conspiracy targeting Syria's role.
5. Director of the General Organization for Sugar: 6700 pounds per ton instead of
4500
The Director-General of the General Organization for Sugar, Engineer Basil Hueis
stressed that the institution raised the price per ton of sugar beet to 6700 pounds
instead of 4,500 pounds to encourage farmers to continue production, and supply
institutionās factories of this product to continue the production of white sugar, in
spite of the difficulties on the industry on several levels.
Syrian-Iranian discussion to face the challenges against the two countriesā
economic relations
Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Mohammad ZaferMihbikmeeting the
Iranian ambassador in Damascus Mohammad RizaShibani and the accompanying
delegation, called for removing any obstacle that might hinder the development
of economic relations between Syria and Iran, hailing the two countries'
capabilities of great production energies.
Approving of establishing three industrial cities
Director of the Industrial Cities, Akram Hassan, revealed that the volume of
projects implemented in all industrial cities until last April exceeded SYP 530
billion.
6. He added that three other industrial cities will be established in Tal-Kalakh in
Homs province, Om al-Zaitoun in al-Sweida province and al-Rweiha district in
Idleb province.
