2. Paul is a prisoner of the
Romans in Caesarea.
Testifying at a
pre-trial

3. Acts 26:24 And
as he thus spake
for himself, Festus said with
a loud voice, Paul, thou art
beside thyself; much learning
doth make thee mad.
When Paul said that Jesus
had risen from the dead,
Festus couldn’t stand it.
Men of reason did not believe in miracles.
3
4. Many people think we are crazy because we
believe that every Word of the Bible is true.
4
5. But we are not crazy for believing God.
Matthew 4 4 But Jesus answered and said, It is
written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by
Every Word that proceedeth out of the Mouth of
God.
Paul answered Festus:
5
6. 25 But
he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but
speak forth the Words of Truth and Soberness.
Paul stayed calm and polite.
Words of Truth and Soberness
The Word of God is the only source of
Truth and Sanity.

7. 26 Forthe king knoweth of these things, before
whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that
none of these things are hidden from him; for this
thing was not done in a corner.
None of this was news to King Agrippa.
It was all done openly.
7
8. 27 King Agrippa,believest thou the prophets? I
know that thou believest. 28 Then Agrippa said unto
Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
Intellectual consent to the Truth is not enough.
Romans 10:17 (KJV)
17 So then faith cometh by
hearing, and hearing by
the Word of God.
8
9. 29 And Paul said, I would to God, that not only
thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both
almost, and altogether such as I am, except these
bonds.
Paul was in chains, and yet he was living in
liberty more than anyone else there.
He was delivered from the bondage
of sin and the torments of hell.
9
10. 30 And when he had thus spoken, the king rose up,
and the governor, and Bernice, and they that sat
with them: 31 And when they were gone aside, they
talked between themselves, saying, This man doeth
nothing worthy of death or of bonds.
They knew that Paul was innocent;
They knew the accusing Jews were lying, and
that Paul was telling the Truth.
10
11. 32 Then said Agrippa unto Festus, This man might
have been set at liberty, if he had not appealed unto
Caesar.
It was God’s Will that Paul
take the Gospel to Rome.
Paul would have to suffer much, but he would
willingly do the Will of God.
Will you?
