3. This a single standard treatment protocol for COVID 19 and will vary depending on
factors that include disease presentation, severity of the disease, respiratory distress
and pre-existing co- morbidities. In ayurveda, Jwara is a condition where the Agni
(metabolic fire) is hampered and agni dissipates to the whole body causing Tapam
(Hyperthermia) in the body. The Symptoms of covid 19 known to us are fever, sore
throat, Dry cough, Breathlessness, body aches, loss of taste or smell and severe
tiredness. Some less common symptoms include diarrhea and rashes on the skin.
Based on the common symptoms, COVID 19 can be categorized either as kapha-
vatajvara or vata-kaphajvara. (Avastha varies between the two from case to case based
on our observation) Depending on the condition of each patient, the confirmation of
diagnosis must be made.
The site of disease manifestation is at the seat of Kapha. Symptoms infer a kapha-
vata predominance largely. Both kapha and vata doshas are cold in nature. With

SYMPTYS LIKE FEVER WITH CHILSS 60% ,TIREDNESS 40% ,LOSS OF

hours or 48 hours if the patient complaint weakness jwara is going deep seted
into verios dhatus (various tissue level ) if we manage the initial stage we can
prevent further stage .
First 3 days are most crucial to manage the covid cases .

HTN) TO RESTORE THE lung capacity .and prevention of fibrosis .
33. Avoid sweets ,curd, dairy products light food like Rice with watery moong dal β’
Boiled vegetables , Rice with pepper rasam Parboiled gruel with cumin seeds β’
Soups After the fever subsided, they were suggested to take strained rice and
watery moong dal with ginger, turmeric, cumin seeds and pepper. Pepper rasam
was also advised. They were allowed to blanch vegetables like carrot, snake gourd,
beans seasoned with salt pepper and turmeric as sides. Alternatively, they also
took Rice gruel. β’ Once, the appetite was restored to normalcy they started
including a few spoons of melted ghee. Milk processed with dry ginger was also
taken at this stage. β’ Dairy products were completely avoided in the initial stages.
β’ Patients were advised to take only hot water for drinking. β’ They also boiled
water with ginger, cumin seeds and pepper and took this water for drinking
alternatively.

The cases presented recovered most of the symptoms 5to 10 days
Illness feeling recovered 3 to 5 days
No dearth has happened
The experience of the treatment is giving ray of hope to complete recovery from
covid with out damaging body tissues
Agni deepanam and ama pachana is very important in the initial stage .

OBSERVETIONS
SYMPTYS LIKE FEVER WITH CHILSS 60% ,TIREDNESS 40% ,LOSS OF APITATE 30% COLD 30% dry cough body pains are most common after 24 hours or 48 hours if the patient complaint weakness jwara is going deep seted into verios dhatus (verios tussue level ) if we manage the initial stage we can prevent further stage .
First 3 days are most crucial to manage the covid cases .
Diet pattern diet restrictions are most important
Avoid sweets ,curd, dairy products light food like Rice with watery moong dal β’ Boiled vegetables , Rice with pepper rasam Parboiled gruel with cumin seeds β’ Soups After the fever subsided, they were suggested to take strained rice and watery moong dal with ginger, turmeric, cumin seeds and pepper. Pepper rasam was also advised. They were allowed to blanch vegetables like carrot, snake gourd, beans seasoned with salt pepper and turmeric as sides. Alternatively, they also took Rice gruel. β’ Once, the appetite was restored to normalcy they started including a few spoons of melted ghee. Milk processed with dry ginger was also taken at this stage. β’ Dairy products were completely avoided in the initial stages. β’ Patients were advised to take only hot water for drinking. β’ They also boiled water with ginger, cumin seeds and pepper and took this water for drinking alternatively.
After the medication pt gradually improved after 24 hours
Medication should be continued minimum of 15 days
If the pt comes after 2 days of temperature at that time these are the medicines ie shatdharanun ,amrutotaram kashayam ,shadangapanum ,bilvadigutika.
Medication after the 3 days of symptoms stated shatdharanum, bilvadi gulika ,gorochanadi vati, amrutotarum kashayam
Samerapannaga ras is observed best of desaturation condition .
Samerapannaga and gorochanadi vati best for aged persons (non DM non HTN) TO RESTORE THE lung capacity .and prevention of fibrosis .
