Patient – S.C. Female; 59 years, from Calcutta (India).
Diagnosis – COVID-19 Infection-- Tested Positive.
Treating Homoeopathic Doctor – Dr Subrata Kumar Banerjea, U.K.
Statement from Patient
On Monday the 29th of June 2020, it was supposed that the patient came in close
proximity / contact with a carrier of the COVID-19 virus, through domestic worker or the
two attendees who visit her to repair an electronics.
On Friday the 3rd of July, the patient developed high fever. However, it was not
constant. Whenever it came the body temperature was nearly 102 to 103◦F. So
continued until Tuesday-7-July until we consulted a local homoeopathic doctor who
prescribed some medicines and asked for developments in the next two days. There
was no appreciable changes with those medicines and patient's condition was
deteriorating. On Friday-10-July, the COVID test was done and the patient was found
positive. She was kept in isolation from Wednesday-8-July which continued until
Saturday-25-July-2020.
Added symptoms: the sense of smell and taste were lost. Dryness of mucous
membranes with pain in chest (could not describe the type of pain though Dr. Banerjea
questioned few times); pain was better by lying on that side. Constipated ++.
Then we consulted Dr Subrata Kumar Banerjea in the U.K and shared the blood report
and COVID positive test report. His medication was continued until July-25-2020.
She was advised by Dr. Banerjea to take Ferrum Phos 3X (Tissue Salt), Justicia
Adhatoda Q (Tincture) and Bryonia 30C: 1 dose to sip for 3 days followed by 200C, to
sip for 3 days. We also gave her coconut water, fruits, lime juice etc. She was also
breathing-in vapour and saline water gargle was continued. Post shower, cleaning with
Dettol was followed. Clean rooms and proper hygiene was maintained.
By the 4th day with the infection, the patient had developed chest pain when asleep
along with breathing troubles. This was accompanied with poor bowel movement,
headache and the patient was observably coughing continuously. It was a short, tickling
spasmodic type of coughing; exertion aggravates; also aggravated by slight cold air and
from lying down. Dr. Banerjea stopped Justicia and replaced that with Coccus Cacti 6X
Trituration; which worked miraculously and reduced the cough.

CONCLUSION: Simple Homoeopathy wins:
"My years of clinical experience in busy Indian Clinics and in my Clinics in England, and
also understanding and reading of Homoeopathic literatures, have brought me to the
conclusion that the totality of the following six methodologies will enable the prescriber
to reach the "Similimum" efficiently and quickly:
I) Emphasis on Aetiologies (search for physical and emotional aetiologies, past
history of disease, conventional medication and/or vaccination: Never Been Well
Since).
12. 12
II) Totality of Physical Symptoms (with special emphasis on generals, modalities
and sensations).
III) Emotional Symptoms (with emphasis on personality profile and the nature of the
person).
IV) Behaviour, Gesture, Posture, Hobbies (how the person speaks, behaves during
the consultation, his nature, inquisitiveness, repetitiveness, abusive tendencies
etc.).
https://www.homoeopathy-course.com/resources/lectures
V) Miasmatic Totality (diagnosing the surface miasm, please refer to my book
"Miasmatic Prescribing" for quick miasmatic diagnosis).
https://www.homoeopathy-course.com/resources/books
VI) Homoeopathic Generalities: (a) Thermal reactions, (b) Food preferences and
appetite, (c) Thirst, (d) Sleep and dream, (e) General eliminations, (f) Diathesis or
tendencies & (g) Allergies."
In my experience, the Totality or a combination of any three of the above
methodologies can get you to the Similimum.
This is a time tested, repeatedly verified, scientific, classical and practical approach
which has been practiced for centuries by Master Homoeopaths including Drs. Kent,
Hering, Lippe, Tyler, Nash, etc.
