knowledge. 3 There is no speech, nor are there words;
Their voice is not heard. 4 Their line has gone out

8. Testimony Of God’s Work
• NAU Psalm 19:1 …The heavens are telling of the

• If there was a time when there was absolutely nothing
in existence.
• What would be in existence now?
• Absolutely nothing. You cannot get something from
nothing. Nothing produces No thing.
• The world does exist (and it is passing away), that
demands that there has to be something that has
always existed. And, that Something must be self
existent. An uncaused cause, an uncreated Creator, a
First Cause.
• The universe exists, is dying a heat death, is expanding,
had a beginning. It is an “effect” and therefore had to
have a cause.

• This is a logical contradiction, requiring existence before
existence. “It” must be, before “it” is.
• The “Big Bang” doesn’t help. It is impossible for sterilized
water and hot rock to become a tomato. Let alone a farmer
or philosopher. Mutation and survival of the fittest, only
remove or destroy genetic code. Evolution has no means to
write or increase genetic information. It is deductive and
destructive. Birth defects!
• If nothing ever existed, then nothing would be.
• Do you know what “nothing” is?
• Aristotle said, “Nothing” is what rocks dream about.”

is an effect, requiring a cause, and could not
have caused itself before it was.

• Empirical science cannot answer the question of how all
space, time, matter, and energy started. Because we cannot
set up an experiment and start multiple universes, to test
our theory.
• Single events in the past require forensic, or historic
science. We examine the physical evidence, eyewitness

ARE WE LIVING IN A SIMULATION?
• If you had nothing better to do with your time, you might enjoy thinking about such things as:
"How do I know that the whole world isn't just a figment of someone's imagination?" Or, "How
do I know that the whole universe didn't suddenly pop into existence 20 minutes ago?"
• Neil deGrasse Tyson speaking at the National Air and Space Museum in 2009According to an
article in Tech Insider, "Most physicists and philosophers agree that it's impossible to prove
definitively that we don't live in a simulation and that the universe is real."
• No, I'm not making this up. And yes, these are questions that philosophers and evolutionists
spend their time talking about. As a participant in the 2016 Isaac Asimov Memorial Debate at
the American Museum of Natural History, Neil deGrasse Tyson and his fellow panelists
discussed whether the universe is a simulation. If you saw the 1999 film The Matrix, you know
what I'm talking about. Tyson said the likelihood of the universe being a simulation "may be very
high," adding that "it is easy for me to imagine that everything in our lives is just the creation of
some other entity for their entertainment."
• What's this? Could Tyson be talking about God? As an evolutionist, this is something he would
not do. Extraterrestrials maybe, but God never! While philosophers might enjoy such
discussions, don't you prefer spending your time learning how the real universe works and
giving praise to the God who created it?

• Q. Concerning “Who Does the Father Draw?”…I totally agree with you except for the part that God doesn’t
call everyone. I believe He does, either through hearing the Word or through observation of creation
(Romans 1:18-20; Psalm 19:1-4; Job 12:7-12). Also John 12:32 says “When I am lifted up I will draw all men
unto Myself”. I truly believe that every lost person has been drawn by the Holy Spirit at some point in their
lives, probably several times, but continued to reject that calling. Therefore, at the Great White Throne
judgment no lost person will be able to accuse God that He isn’t fair because He never called them. Actually,
I think we are in agreement that people send themselves to eternal judgment and that they did indeed have
a choice.
• A. Like you, I believe the door to salvation is open to everyone during their lifetime. We know that God
wants everyone to be saved (2 Peter 3:9) and Paul said everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be
saved (Romans 10:13). My point in saying God only calls those who he knows will respond comes
fromRomans 8:29-30.
• “For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the
firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also
justified; those he justified, he also glorified.”
• Notice there’s no fallout between any of the steps from foreknowledge to glorification. The ones He
foreknew He predestined. The ones He predestined He called. The ones He called He justified, and the
ones He justified He glorified. The process begins with God, who knows the end from the beginning, seeing
in advance those who will become His. And everyone who enters the process completes it. Based on that, it
would seem that if He were to call everyone, then everyone would be saved.
• But as we know that’s not the case. Therefore, I can only conclude that there must be a difference between
being drawn by the Holy Spirit and being called by God. It must be that although the Holy Spirit draws all
men, some harden their hearts against this and resist. At the GWT judgment I believe those who resisted
unto death will be enabled to recall all the times in their life when this happened, until finally their hearts
became too hard to penetrate. This will show them to be without excuse.
• After years of study I’ve become fully persuaded that each of us controls our own destiny where our
salvation is concerned. Otherwise God is neither fair nor just.

46. Psalm 19:1, IN THE MIDST OF THE
WATERS, TODAY'S CREATION MOMENT
• What was the Earth like before the Flood? Bible believing scientists are giving us
some surprising answers about the incredibly beautiful Earth God originally
created.
• In Genesis 1:6 we read that God divided the waters, leaving waters above and
below the firmament. The firmament spoken of here is our atmosphere. We can
easily understand that the waters below the firmament are the oceans. But what
are the waters above the firmament?
• One theory offered by Bible believing scientists is that the waters above the
firmament may have been a water vapor canopy. A water vapor canopy above
most of the atmosphere would have had the same effect as the roof of a
greenhouse does today. The Earth would have been a warm, tropical place, with
very even temperatures from pole to pole. Under such conditions there would be
no storms nor winter as we know it. This theory, say creation scientists, would
explain why we find evidences of tropical plants and animals even in the far north
and on the Antarctic continent.
• Creation scientist who hold to this theory have suggested that Genesis7:11 may
be referring to the collapse of this canopy when it says that the windows of
heaven “opened up.” Yes, the Bible offers us a believable history of major events
that can be accounted for in only thousands of years instead of millions!
