2. Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation
A hemorrhagic disorder, in which there is an uncontrolled
inappropriate formation and lysis of fibrin within the blood
vessels.
As fibrin is formed, several clotting proteins as well as
naturally occurring inhibitors and platelets are consumed
faster than they are synthesized.
A secondary group of symptoms that is always triggered
by a primary condition that does not necessarily involve
coagulation.

may have mild manifestations of the disorder or be
