Although many women have been confident enough to report sexual harassment in the workplace, it is still very hard and uncomfortable for other women to stand up and also makes it more surprising how many of these incidences are still taking place every day. Workplace sexual harassment goes for both genders and it’s even harder for men since they are always viewed as the aggressors and superior gender and the mindset of our society shapes a lot of what we perceive is okay and normal behavior towards each other.
One interesting experience I heard of recently was involving a female service member and her superiors. This female works in an office with about four other males who are very aware about her feelings towards the behavior of her superior who happens to work outside of that specific office. The superior officer comes in everyday to check up on their work, make small talk with the guys and also has a habit of always rubbing her shoulders when he walks over to her desk. She explains that the first time it happened she thought it was odd being that she doesn’t have that type of relationship with him and gave him a pass, but then it became a an everyday thing. She tried tactics such as getting up from her desk, walking away from him and even voiced to the other males how uncomfortable it made her; they thought it was funny. Final Lab Report
You are required to write a complete laboratory report that covers all three experiments for "Lab 2: Water Quality and Contamination," using knowledge gained throughout the course. Unemployment is divided into three categories by economist: frictional, structural, and cyclical. Frictional unemployment is unemployment due to constant changes in the economy that prevent qualified unemployed workers from being immediately matched up with existing job openings (Gwartney et al.) Structural unemployment is unemployment due to structural characteristics of the economy that make it difficult for job seekers to find employment to hire workers (Gwartney et al.) Cyclical unemployment is unemployment due to recessionary business conditions and inadequate labor demand (Gwartney et al.)
“Frictional unemployment is not as harmful to an economy as other types of unemployment, such as cyclical and structural unemployment. That's because a rise in frictional unemployment is simply an increase of workers moving toward better positions (Amadeo).”
Frictional unemployment comes from imperfect information. An example would be most businesses now when they are in the hiring process they will do a bunch of interviews and spend money trying to find the best person for that job. The people who are looking for jobs are constantly looking on the internet, the newspaper, local bulletin boards, and social media for the right job that fits them. In the county I live with I see a lot of structural unemployment. People that do have job openings require education; the ones who are unemployed have no education so they aren’t qualified. A lot of office jobs require you to have computer knowledge. Around my home town, there is very little education especially when it comes to technology. The last type of unemployment we see happening today all around the world. Businesses are cutting back and laying employees off. Where I currently work, when someone leaves, they aren’t filling the positions. We have to do more work with fewer employees.
I have a friend who lost her job and I try to encourage her to never give up and keep her faith. Philippians 4:5 states, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God.” That is a good scripture for everyone who is unemployed to keep in mind. Times can be tough when you are looking for a job, but the Bible tells us to never give up, and pray about it.

the roots of the CLO concept, the intended purpose, the qualifications, and

straight, discussing how the role of the CLO was conceived, where and why

You are required to write a complete laboratory report that covers all three experiments for "Lab 2: Water Quality and Contamination," using knowledge gained throughout the course. To begin, download the Final Lab Report Template and utilize this form to ensure proper formatting and inclusion of all required material. The Final Lab Report must contain the following eight sections in this order:

It should not exceed 200 words and should be the last part written (although it should still appear right after the title page).
3. Introduction – This section should include background information on water quality and an overview of why the experiment was conducted. It should first contain background information of similar studies previously conducted. This is accomplished by citing existing literature from similar experiments. Secondly, it should provide an objective or a reason why the experiment is being done. Why do we want to know the answer to the question we are asking? Finally, it should end with all three hypotheses from your Week Two experiments. These hypotheses should not be adjusted to reflect the “right” answer. Simply place your previous hypotheses in the report here. You do not lose points for an inaccurate hypothesis; scientists often revise their hypotheses based on scientific evidence following the experiments.
4. Materials and Methods – This section should provide a detailed description of the materials used in your experiment and how they were used. A step-by-step rundown of your experiment is necessary; however, it should be done in paragraph form, not in a list format. The description should be exact enough to allow for someone reading the report to replicate the experiment, however, it should be in your own words and not simply copied and pasted from the lab manual.
5. Results – This section should include the data and observations from the experiment. All tables and graphs should be present in this section. Three types of Unemployment
Unemployment is divided into three categories by economist: frictional, structural, and cyclical. Frictional unemployment is unemployment due to constant changes in the economy that prevent qualified unemployed workers from being immediately matched up with existing job openings (Gwartney et al.) Structural unemployment is unemployment due to structural characteristics of the economy that make it difficult for job seekers to find employment to hire workers (Gwartney et al.) Cyclical unemployment is unemployment due to recessionary business conditions and inadequate labor demand (Gwartney et al.)
“Frictional unemployment is not as harmful to an economy as other types of unemployment, such as cyclical and structural unemployment. That's because a rise in frictional unemployment is simply an increase of workers moving toward better positions (Amadeo).”
Frictional unemployment comes from imperfect information. An example would be most businesses now when they are in the hiring process they will do a bunch of interviews and spend money trying to find the best person for that job. The people who are looking for jobs are constantly looking on the internet, the newspaper, local bulletin boards, and social media for the right job that fits them. In the county I live with I see a lot of structural unemployment. People that do have job openings require education; the ones who are unemployed have no education so they aren’t qualified. A lot of office jobs require you to have computer knowledge. Around my home town, there is very little education especially when it comes to technology. The last type of unemployment we see happening today all around the world. Businesses are cutting back and laying employees off. Where I currently work, when someone leaves, they aren’t filling the positions. We have to do more work with fewer employees.
I have a friend who lost her job and I try to encourage her to never give up and keep her faith. Philippians 4:5 states, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God.” That is a good scripture for everyone who is unemployed to keep in mind. Times can be tough when you are looking for a job, but the Bible tells us to never give up, and pray about it.

For each article, prepare a one-page application essay. Avoid summarizing the article. Instead, identify key concepts in the article that are particularly meaningful in context of your current (or past) organization. Explain why the concepts are significant to you and how you could apply them. You can also make application to the Capstone simulation.

1. 12 point font, 1-inch margins.
2. Name, date, and article citation at the top of the paper; use APA style for article citation.
3. Left justified, single space within paragraphs, double space between paragraphs.

In the views of the originator of the chief learning officer (CLO) concept—
Willis—and the first practitioner—May—the role a CLO must fulfill is dif-
ferent from a knowledge manager’s role. A CLO is much more deeply
engaged in the social learning and social communication processes that make
a learning organization. Many honest effor ts have been made to untangle
the roots of the CLO concept, the intended purpose, the qualifications, and
above all, the future of the position. Here the pioneers write to set the record
straight, discussing how the role of the CLO was conceived, where and why
it was implemented, and what it has meant for Millbrook Distribution Ser-
vices. They demonstrate that the CLO role is not just a Fortune 500 phe-
nomenon, but has application to smaller companies as well.
Background
The chief learning officer is fast becoming a strategic, lead
player in the drama of today’s business organizations. The histori-
cal nature of the Millbrook case study makes it important to set the
stage a bit differently. Theor y is often born and gains its credibil-
ity through interplay with practitioner experience, and this is the
situation with the Millbrook case. Thus theor y about the practice
of a CLO as well as the real-world practice itself play balanced parts
in how the case has developed and how the position of the CLO at
Millbrook continues to evolve.
Willis first articulated the need for a CLO in a 1991 article pub-
lished in the fledgling Human Resource Development Quarterly. This

In this assignment, students will respond to a short case study demonstrating an understanding of an ethical dilemma and the ethical theories presented in the course.
Required Elements of Assignment #1 – Making an Ethical Decision:
· Read critically and analyze the scenario provided;
· Answer the question, “What would you do?;”
· To answer the question, students must identify the ethical dilemma;
· Apply at least three theories to make the decision;
· Compare and contrast your results using the three theories;
· Choose the result that you consider to be the best resolution of the dilemma and explain why;
Required Formatting of Assignment #1:
· This paper should be double-spaced, 12-point font, and three to four pages in length excluding the title page and reference page;
· Title page;
· Introductory paragraph and a summary paragraph;
· Use headings to demarcate your discussion;
· Write in the third person;
· Use APA formatting for in-text citations and a reference page. You are expected to paraphrase and not use quotes. Deductions will be taken when quotes are used and found to be unnecessary;
· Submit the paper in the Assignment Folder.
Scenario:
Jill Jones is a bright 45-year-old woman who is the vice-president of sales in a mid-sized family owned Candy Corporation. She began her career at the company right out of high school, and over the years earned two college degrees while working her way up the organizational ladder.
One day, Jill was stunned to learn that the firm’s head, William Potter, was considering placing his oldest son, Henry, in the position of CEO while he became chairman of the board. Years earlier, when Jill was in a middle management position, Henry had unsuccessfully propositioned her and made her life miserable. She had never mentioned the incident to anyone and had put it behind her when he was promoted to head the Miami branch of the business. However, now as she looks at William Potter she becomes even more shocked to hear him say” I can’t be objective about him Jill, You have always been so loyal to the company and successful in hiring excellent people for the sales force I want you to review him objectively and give me your recommendation.” Conflicting thoughts rush through her mind, the awful past, the all so possible awful future with him as her boss, the clear knowledge that he has done a great job with the Miami branch, and of course the knowledge that he is the bosses son. What should she do?
“Jill” has just come up against one of the myriad ethical dilemmas companies of all sizes and their employees face on an ongoing basis. Deciding the best course of action might be easy in some cases, when there are clear-cut choices between “right” and “wrong.” But there are many gray areas, like Jill’s, when it’s harder to know what the right choice is for you and your company.

2. Sam statistics is working for the department of seniors. Minister Mundy wants to decide whether or not she should support the ongoing “stay active , stay well” program for 2016.the program was set up in two communities in last September 2015 to encourage seniors to curry out activities for which they were contributing to their communities.
Sam presents his boss with the following data from two communities, West Isle and East Isle. In each one, seniors have been keeping track of when they have been actively contributing to their respective communities. Sam has compiled the data below.
Sam wants some help to understand the data better. Minister Mundy tells him she wants the data presented in one graph, so she can compare the activities in two communities .The minister also wants to have some understanding of the proportion of seniors involved. So , she asks Sam to also provide her with the number of activities at which 80 percent of the people contributed.
