Cloning captured the public's attention when Scottish scientists startled the world in July of 1996

Embryologists believe that the research could help improve the lives of further generations.

cells develop at approximately the same phenomenal rate as the embryonic cells do. By studying

The most significant problem our world has with newfound controversies is that most people take
one side on the issue before they become educated on the topic at hand. This is the same problem
that I see with the controversial issue of cloning. Whether one argues for or against the cloning of
humans or animals, most people leave out the ethics and morals behind the issue. People see movies

produced clones of themselves. What would the world be like in another 20 or 30 years? The
answer is: much like today. Cloning would only copy the genetic aspects of people who are already
