Asuman Krause is a German-born former model and singer of mixed Turkish, German, and Dutch descent. She grew up in Germany but decided to stay with her mother in Turkey. In 1998 she won the Miss Turkey beauty pageant and went on to represent Turkey at Miss Universe. She later pursued a singing career, releasing two albums between 2006-2008. Her debut album received some airplay while her second album and its single, "Kukla," achieved more success, reaching #10 on the Turkish charts.

Asuman Krause (born c. 1976) is a Germanborn former model and singer of mixedTurkish and GermanDutch
descent.
Krause grew up in Germany until the end of middle school. Afterwards she decided to stay with her mother in
Turkey. She then became a model and in March 1998 she won the Miss Turkey beauty pageant and then went
on to represent Turkey at Miss Universe, winning the Congeniality award.[1]
Giving up her modelling career in favour of a career as a singer in 2006, she released her debut album, Çok
Yalnızım (English: I'm very lonely), with the Turkish record companySeyhan Müzik. It received some radio airplay
and was compared with the likes of Burcu Güneş and Emel Müftüoğlu.[2]
She released her second album, Kukla (English: Puppet), this time with another record company, Üçüncügöz
Müzik, in 2008. This was met with more success than her previous album, and the first single from that album,
also called Kukla reached the 10th position on the Turkish Billboard Charts.[3]
She is hosting Turkish version of Wipeout.,[4] Fear Factor, and Deal or No Deal (Var Misin Yok Musun).
