• This conference happened in Moscone Center ,San Francisco,
April 29 – May 1.
• The Microsoft BUILD conference is typically a time when a lot
of developer tools are released
• The very short version released is:
Visual Studio 2015 Release Candidate (RC).
 Team Foundation Server 2015 RC.
Visual Studio 2013 Update 5 RC.
• And also a preview of a new tool that runs on MacOS, Linux,
and Windows called Visual Studio Code.

3. Prerelease Software Downloads
• Prerelease software enable us to provide early and frequent
builds of our products under development.
Preview • Enable us to provide more frequent
releases to solicit early feedback
Beta • Software is an early build release
that is not quite ready for use in
production environments.
Release Candidate • (RC) software is a version of the
product (usually the most recent)
that is deemed complete and stable
enough to become the released
version.
Released Version • Version that is complete enough for
use in production environments.
