In recent years, the growth of scientific data and the increasing need for data sharing and collaboration in the field of environmental chemistry has led to the creation of various software and databases that facilitate research and development into the safety and toxicity of chemicals. The US-EPA Center for Computational Toxicology and Exposure has been developing software and databases that serve the chemistry community for many years. This presentation will focus on several web-based software applications which have been developed at the USEPA and made available to the community. While the primary software application from the Center is the CompTox Chemicals Dashboard almost a dozen proof-of-concept applications have been built serving various capabilities. The publicly accessible Cheminformatics Modules (https://www.epa.gov/chemicalresearch/cheminformatics) provides access to six individual modules to allow for hazard comparison for sets of chemicals, structure-substructure-similarity searching, structure alerts and batch QSAR prediction of both physicochemical and toxicity endpoints. A number of other applications in development include a chemical transformations database (ChET) and a database of analytical methods and open mass spectral data (AMOS). Each of these depends on the underlying DSSTox chemicals database, a rich source of chemistry data for over 1.2 million chemical substances. I will provide an overview of all tools in development and the integrated nature of the applications based on the underlying chemistry data. However, scientists have already made headway toward the goal of human teleportation by successfully achieving quantum teleportation. Using deep archival observations from the Chandra X-ray Observatory, we present an analysis of linear X-ray-emitting features located within the southern portion of the Galactic center chimney, and oriented orthogonal to the Galactic plane, centered at coordinates l = 0.08◦ , b = −1.42◦ . The surface brightness and hardness ratio patterns are suggestive of a cylindrical morphology which may have been produced by a plasma outflow channel extending from the Galactic center. Our fits of the feature’s spectra favor a complex two-component model consisting of thermal and recombining plasma components, possibly a sign of shock compression or heating of the interstellar medium by outflowing material. Assuming a recombining plasma scenario, we further estimate the cooling timescale of this plasma to be on the order of a few hundred to thousands of years, leading us to speculate that a sequence of accretion events onto the Galactic Black Hole may be a plausible quasi-continuous energy source to sustain the observed morphology

The efficient delivery of therapeutic agents to tumor sites remains a significant challenge in cancer treatment. Nano-carriers have emerged as promising vehicles for targeted drug delivery due to their ability to enhance drug solubility, prolong circulation time, and minimize systemic toxicity. This review provides a comprehensive overview of active and passive targeting strategies employed to improve the efficiency of nano-carriers in reaching and accumulating at tumor sites. Active targeting utilizes ligands or antibodies to specifically bind to receptors overexpressed on tumor cells, while passive targeting exploits the unique characteristics of the tumor microenvironment, such as leaky vasculature and impaired lymphatic drainage, to enhance accumulation. The synergistic combination of active and passive targeting strategies holds great potential for optimizing drug delivery to tumors while minimizing off-target effects. In-depth understanding of these strategies is crucial for the rational design and development of nano-carriers tailored for enhanced efficacy in cancer therapy.
