6. How did you manipulate representations?
•I took a variety of photos for my magazine so I could have a clear choice of what
to put where.
•I put the one with the Black Veil Brides band member as my main feature image
on my contents page because it would be more eye-catching for the readers to see
a Black Veil Brides member on the front cover, it will intrigue them to read on .
•For my contents page I used around 5 images including band members getting
ready for concerts, concert images and new up- coming artists. This is to give the
readers a clue on what the magazine is about without reading the text.
•For my double page spread I used two images which show influential purposes
for a rock music magazine.
•What specific techniques did you use?
• I used relative imagery, a picture of a Black Veil Brides member with a fan.
• The dark colors, like Black and Red to catch readers attention as they are well
combined.
•The image is in the centre so its very clear and easy to spot
•The masthead is big and bold, very eye-catching
• I used rock related text to make the magazine look more rock related, and the rock
words are in bold.

•Word press to upload all work on my blog.

• I had to book my computer in order to do the work.

• InDesign was tricky to use at times because I had never worked with that before,
so it was a challenge adjusting to everything on the program.
•Photoshop wasn’t too hard apart from getting the image on one background to
another.
•Using Word press was also tricky at the beginning when we were first introduced
