WHY IS PDHPE SO VALUABLE?

2. Road Safety
• PDHPE teaches students to be road wise by
encouraging them to follow the road rules
to keep themselves and others safe!
For example, wearing a seatbelt or holding an adults hand whilst
crossing the road.

3. Healthy Eating
PDHPE informs students how to create and maintain
healthy eating habits, by understanding:
1. Correct portions sizes
2. Sometimes food vs.
everyday food
1. Long-term and Short-term
health benefits

4. Physical Activity
PDHPE teaches children a wide range of physical
activities, from soccer to gymnastics.
