Training Foam (AFFF-TF)
A high quality foaming agent formulated for use in fire training exercises.
Designed to simulate the foaming performance of an AFFF with either fresh or salt
water, but without the environmental impact of an AFFF.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
• All grades are butyl carbitol free.
• Classified as readily biodegradable with low toxicity to marine life.
• Flourine free
• Meets pr EN 858 definition of being Separator Friendly.

* Foam quality will depend on the foam equipment used and the operating conditions.
The above are tested in accordance with UK Defence Standard 42-40.
APPLICATIONS
For use in fire training system calibration wherever a foaming alternative to an AFFF is
required.
Product training foams can also be used as wetting agents for combating Class A fires
(i.e. tyres, paper, wood) and for providing a vapour suppression blanket on hydrocarbon spills.
Not suitable for use as a Class B Fire Fighting Foam
PROPORTIONING INFORMATION
1%: 1 part foam concentrate to 99 parts water
3%: 3 parts foam concentrate to 97 parts water
LIMITATIONS
Use only for training purposes. Not suitable for use as a fire fighting foam concentrate.
COMPATIBILITY
The Training Foam is not for fire fighting use and should not be mixed with
those concentrates used for this purpose.
