13. SIPS TECHNOLOGY
A Structural Insulated Panel (SIP) is
Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) sandwiched
between Fiber Cement Board (FCB) or
Oriented Strand Board (OSB). These are
bonded together with a structural grade
laminating adhesive. SIPs can be produced in
sizes ranging from 4’ x 8’ to 4’ x 24’.
