from everywhere in the
world….. whom she have
never met…
….he is Mark, the boss of Linda….

Linda reads Mark’s blog, and she get
notified via RSS if anything changes…

Mark the same way reads Linda’s blog..

She is so popular that 20 other colleges
read her blog..

Linda and Mark feel that they know
each other well although they never met
microsegment was using web services before:
after Linda completed the tasks she get via email,
she filled her timesheet….online from almost
anywhere…




     the timesheet data from other colleges were collected
     and summarized as well…the management have up
     to date information about the progress of the
     projects and the company financials…
now Linda uploads her materials, deliveries
(presentations, publications, etc.) to the review-
manager…. online, from anywhere
where the other members of the project can review,
comment and discuss it…they work together…
online…around the clock




         after comments are discussed and accepted,
         they become (to-do) items…
these to-do items can be seen together with
other tasks and problems on trac - the project
management site of the company…
                                here she can assign tasks
                                in her project…online

                                or set a deadline for an
                                existing task…online

                                or monitor the progress of
                                her project…online
Linda likes the tools like trac, since
  they are lightweight, easy to use,
  they need only a browser….and
  they have RSS


      no need for training… new
      college can sign in and use
      them…
Linda likes the most the wiki pages of
the company…she uses them a lot…

 easy to access for
 anyone from the
 company…easy to
 edit, contribute
 for anyone



  with the help of wiki from a one line idea becomes a
  concept within few days…
   …that 3-5 colleges feels that it is their idea
Linda’s customers wrote their requests and
questions to the helpdesk site of the
company ….online
…and they got answer fast, since Linda and her
colleges are subscribed to the topic via
RSS….
Linda encourages her
                               clients to use the wiki
                               on the extranet of the
                               company....



       discussing new ideas,
…for
approaches, create
documents….status reports…
…her clients feel more
                        involved, and they
                        appreciate that Linda is
                        focusing on things what they
                        want…they collaborate on
                        everything that is possible….


….therefore, they save time and
resource…together
……less

….6 months ago Linda was using these tools….
…..today she is more using these tools….




 ..and..
….microsegment organized
them….. into a single site….
