Urban Agriculture, Foraging and the
Green Pop-Up
15,000 sq ft of farm that resides in an empty
lot in the Alexandria Center on the East
River. Crops are planted in milk crates,
allowing for both better sun exposure
(turning of plants) and mobility. When
construction begins again on the stalled
plot, the farm is easily picked up and
relocated to another empty lot.
