My Inspiration My mom essentially is the most inspirational person to me in a basically big way.
When I specifically feel down she comforts me, or so they for all intents and purposes though.
She listens to all of my problems and reassures me when my insecurities essentially come out in a
generally major way. She's also very determined, when she mostly puts her mind to something,
she exceeds basically past her goals, pretty contrary to popular belief. She kind of is not just my
mom she for the most part is also my really the best friend in a for all intents and purposes major
way. My mom for all intents and purposes is an pretty much older version of myself, she's definitely
short with kind of brown hair in a particularly major way. She literally has intimidating kind of green
eyes, which...show more content...
She mostly has so basically any sort of other qualities, but these definitely are the ones that actually
stand out to me in a subtle way. She really has for all intents and purposes many different
mannerisms. When she's happy she essentially bounces off the walls like a kid on Halloween night,
generally further showing how she doesn't judge people based on their race, weight, sexuality, etc,
fairly further showing how when she particularly was younger she basically had kind of big hair
because she kind of lived in the 80's in a subtle way. When she's sad she doesn't show it because
she can very timid, so she wore leg warmers and fairly bright neon colors in a pretty major way.
When she's angry she will essentially let you know, demonstrating that she actually puts her foot
down and generally holds her ground when she particularly has to, pretty further showing how she
really was a very stylish teenager, which mostly is quite significant. When she's proud, she tells me
and generally makes generally sure I basically know she literally loves me in a particularly big

Essay about Self-Motivation is Empowering
Motivation is a very strong tool we can use to get further in life and to achieve our dreams and
goals. Setting goals for ourselves is something that I consider to be very important, I believe in
always pushing myself further and further in life, not only physically but mentally as well. We all
have different things or tools we can use to motivate us towards our end goals. In order for us to
stay motivated we have to have a goal and be driven towards achieving that goal.
For me, self–motivation is empowering. Finding something that I enjoy and love to do and setting
the final goal of achieving it. My main goal that I have set right now is to work towards finishing
my degree. My motivation behind this is to be able to get a better job and...show more content...
I am learning to take each assignment and task one at a time. Simply complete what the task at
hand is and then move on to the next. I feel by doing so, I will be able to complete my degree
along with knowing that I have faith in myself to push myself and motivate myself along the way.
By going back to school and getting my degree I am opening up potentially lots of doors for
myself in the future. I am setting a good example for my boys and that no matter what age you
are, it is never too late to go back to school and further your education. Education is the key to
opening up positions in the workplace that someone without an education would not be able to
pursue. The benefits will far out way the time and work that it will take for me to complete my
degree. This will be something that I can be proud of and prove to myself and others that no
matter how hard the goal may seem or how long it may take you to reach the end results, it is
always worth it to follow your dreams. I am extremely motivated to accomplish this goal for myself.
Motivation is the key to succeeding our goals and dreams. You can do anything that you set your
mind to as long as you continue to motivate yourself and others around you. Keeping a positive
attitude and having an end goal in mind to work towards, you will be able to find the motivation

Essay on the power of positive thinking
"There is nothing on earth that you cannot have–once you have mentally accepted the fact that you
can have it."
–Robert Collier
Perhaps the most important mental and spiritual principle ever discovered is that you become what
you think about most of the time. Your outer world reflects your inner world. You can tell the inner
condition of a person by looking at the outer conditions of his or her life. And it cannot be otherwise.
Your mind is extraordinarily powerful. Your thoughts control and determine almost everything that
happens to you.
You are a complex bundle of thoughts, feelings, attitudes, desires, images, fears, hopes, doubts,
opinions and ambitions, each of them constantly changing, sometimes from second to second. Your

You do not believe what you see, but rather you see what you already believe.
The most harmful beliefs that you can have are your self–limiting beliefs. These are beliefs about
you and your potential that hold you back. Most of them are not true. Most of them are the result of
information you have accepted without question, often from when you were young. If you believe
yourself to be limited in an area then that will become your truth.
The Law of Attraction says that you invariably attract into your life the people, ideas, opportunities,
and circumstances in harmony with your dominant thoughts.
This law explains why it is that you don't have to be concerned where your good is going to come
from.
If you can keep your mind clearly focussed on what you want, and refrain from thinking about what
you don't want, you will attract everything you need to achieve your goals, exactly when you are
ready. Change your thinking and you change your life.
Bertrand Russell, the English philosopher, once said, "The very best proof that something can be
done is that others have already done it."
In the New Testament, Jesus taught the way to measure the truth of any principle: "By their fruits,
ye shall know them."
The only question you need to ask about any idea is, "Does it work?" does it bring about the results
that you desire?
Successful people are those who think more effectively than unsuccessful people. They approach
their lives, relationships, goals, problems

A Struggle that Leads to Growth Essay
A Struggle that Leads to Growth We all live in the same planet, yet some people hide their faces
or either moving away from their struggles and some is positive and confident to overcome their
obstacles. Anyone who faces with a struggle in their life is in a continual battle and only the one
who stands firmly through all the barriers will be victorious in the end. I think that even with all
the power and understanding we have, if one gives up their life simply because of their struggle,
then that person also lacks hope and courage to fight against their barrier and he or she definitely
fails. The struggle in our life is like a massive bricked wall in the course of your life, we can either

As I enter high school, my perspectives to life broaden, and once again what I sought for and the
definition of my personal struggle varies too. Knowledge to me in high school is not limited in
the eight specific courses we take but nevertheless the significance of wisdom and striving to
expand our global perspectives also becomes another step in shattering the brick wall in my life.
However, we must know when to retreat when necessary because if we wish to advance and
triumph over our struggle as rapidly as possible, this may result in the lost of your battle. I truly
believe this simply because a struggle is an obstacle in our life, we should enjoy the challenges
that we're face with rather than quickly overcoming your struggle. Now I begin to understand
how to manipulate my struggles correctly so therefore it will become a solution in the future. My
struggle symbolizes a compass, it correctly shows the path of my life and it serves as a force of
motivation that pushes me to prevail over my struggle. Nobody will know what will happen to us
in the future; certainly we will not know what struggles we are faced with in the future. My
struggle for knowledge and wisdom certainly has not been fully achieved yet and I believe that this
struggle is still in a far distance. This is simply because nobody can fully master the knowledge and
wisdom

Personal Essay: What Motivates You?
What motivates you? In a small part, every aspect of my life motivates me to strive for my
dreams. My family; parents, brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews and nieces motivate me and push
me harder to achieve my goals and aspirations. Me being the first in my family to graduate high
school, and enter into college is a tremendous amount of pressure. I want to be able to prove to
them that they can reach their dreams no matter how old or young, if they are determined.
Mainly, I want to show them that everything is obtainable if you work for it. My boyfriend
motivates me to be the best verision of myself that I can be, we both chose to go to SFA together,
after I stated I wasn't interested in going to college. He motivates me to be better, faster, stronger
and more determined. He teaches me to set high goals and reach them. Lastly, my coworkers
motivate me to continue to improve my already strong work ethic. As their manager, they depend
on me to teach them how to succeed in our work environment. Having people look up to me
motivates me to no end. I love to set examples and be a leader to show people anything is
possible. Using the table on page 237, name 3 personality characteristics you possess and explain
why? Without being redundant, three of the personality characteristics that I pride myself in
possessing are as follows: Being thoughtful: I consider myself as thoughtful because I am constantly
working on making peoples' day. I enjoy seeing what I can do to help

The Story of My Life Essay
This explains the beginning of my life all the way to the end of my life. My life from the
beginning was very fun as I grew up living with my mom's friend and my friend. But there were a
lot of fights and I was very hyper back then. I have ADHD so back then when I was little; I was
very hyper and wouldn't stop moving around the place. I always was annoying back then and
never seemed to get my homework done at school. I was born at Kaiser Hospital during the year
1996. The first place I lived was on the street Via Harriet and was right next to a train. It was
always noisy when the train passed by because it shook the house and scared all the animals. It
wasn't the best place to live, but we eventually moved to the hills, I don't remember...show more

Overall I know that I'm going to graduate because I'm pushing hard and all I need to finish is my
Cyber High and keep up my grades and I will graduate. I want to go to Chabot College because it's
the closest place to go to. I am planning to get my associates degree then transfer to Cal State East
Bay University. I don't exactly know the requirements of classes to get into Cal State, but as long
as I get my AA degree I should be fine. I am focused on technology and computers; I like to choose
classes that can be similar to wiring or soldering. I am not that sure if I would be more focused on
computers or wiring, I think an Internship might help me out. My career would be Technician or
Electrician because I'm focused on electricity and wanting to discover what would happen
without getting electrocuted. I'm still unsure if I just want to work on physical components on
the computer. I used to work on computers a lot, but it got boring and I can't do it as great now.
Soldering is interesting for me because I get to repair broken wires, being able to strip a wire.
When striping a wire, you get to know how the wire is connected. I think a life event for me is to
grab my master's degree, which is what I'm focused on. That's like the best degree to get, but it's
really difficult to receive. I wouldn't like going to years and years of education, but it's totally worth
it. Getting a higher degree affects the amount

The Meaning of Life In Literature Essay
Almost every human being is faced with the philosophy of their meaning of life; why they were
placed in the setting they are in and what they feel the need to accomplish in their lifetime. Because
this question is such a broad, vastly fully unanswerable one, it can be argued that characters in fiction
often try and find meaning based on the setting, or environment they find themselves in. Characters
might often find themselves on journeys to sudden epiphany, typically in their immediate or close
setting in hopes to answer that big question about themselves. Having said that, the meaning of life is
always perceived on the basis of opinion, on what the character finds true to themselves, or what we
as readers find true to them. Some come to...show more content...

local inn, but by a new meaning became a metaphorical gateway between the two worlds for the
two princes to regain their true capacities, for no one can find meaning, happiness and fulfillment
until they are where they are meant to be. Without that, any journey to epiphany would become a
never ending one, answers would always be out of ones reach, as if they were alway trapped. We
always try to seek out that someone who may not themselves know the answers to any given
question but we continue to search for answers in them because of a basic sense of safety that is
eluded about them, for life itself is about questions, no one can go through it knowing all the
answers. Peri would be that someone, a mentor for the sea prince who knew nothing more then
his captivity in the sea, point him in a direction for him to find out answers about himself. As
found from Sartre in Evolution and the Big Questions, "man is nothing else then what he makes
of himself" (36). We always have control over our choices made, like as Peri had chosen to hex
the sea. When the sea presented back possible meaning, she chose to pursue it; she was where she
was supposed to be, hence her journey would lead to answers. Out of the sea which she could never
go, emerged

These people have something in common. They persevere. persevering is very inspirational.
Today, my inspiration story is about a man named Nick Vujicic. Nick Vujicic is a motivational

myself) feel so much better about ourselves. Nick also inspires me to be very grateful for what I
have. Nick is extremely grateful for his foot that allows him to do more things. He can walk,
drive a car, and much more. He also tells others to not compare yourself with people who are
better looking, richer, an have more than you. In the article, "3 Reasons To Be Inspired By Nick

comparing oneself to others who are better, richer, more beautiful is bound to breed discontent.
This teaches me to be grateful for what I have instead of comparing myself to others. Because
Nick Vujicic inspires me, I consider him my role model. I love encouraging others and helping
them. When I get older, I would love to take helping others to the next level. Speaking at churches
(just like Nick speaks at mine) about self esteem and your importance in life has been something I
am interested in. A quote by Nick Vujicic is, "Dream big my friend and never give up. We all make
mistakes, but none of us are mistakes. Take one day at a time. Embrace the positive attitudes,

Malala Yousafzai Is An Inspirational Person
An inspirational person is someone who people want to be like. They look up to inspirations and

How To Write A Reflective Essay
Reflection on Life
What makes up a good family? Does your family communicate well? These are the questions that
many people in America ask. They battle with these questions everyday when they think about the
way their family acts. I have also battle with these questions especially when it comes to my family.
My family is one of uniqueness, which causes lots of conflicts. I battle an individualistic sister, a
communitarian mother, and a civic republican brother. With all these different personalities in the
house it is no wonder it seems like our house is a lifestyle enclave. Looking at my family is like
looking at American homes today. It shows the effect of a society that is all about on the go activities.

Moreover, my mother is on the other end of the spectrum. My mother in her own words "Gives a
piece of herself to everyone." She is a very good example of a communitarian. The first sample of
her kindness starts with her occupation. My mother has been a junior high school teacher for 25
years. During this time many people have realized my mother's giving and kindness for her
community. She is always willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to help make a
difference in a student's life. However, her occupation is just the start of her giving. She is also a
community leader through her second career as a pastor. She has only been a preacher for 6
years however; she has been able to do a lot for her church and her community during this time.
She is always "bringing her work home." Like a good communitarian she does everything to help
better the community. My mother has only three children but has thousands of adopted children.
She loves all her children the same even the adopted ones. A good example of this is what
occurred during my last trip home. I came home because of the illness of my grandmother. My
mother has to sit up with my grandmother just in case she gets up and hurts herself in the middle of
the night. This is a very trying time for my mother however she took a piece of her time to

Reflection On Life Change In My Life
We all have life changing events happen in our lives. Sometime it's just a certain moment of a
day or maybe sequence of events that happen over a few days. For me i went on i life changing 3
week journey to help find myself and discover how i want to be. I would like to introduce you to
the CLP (counselor Leadership program). Here we are trained to become better leaders, Trained to
be lifeguards, and go through i life changing experience climbing a 13,000 ft mountain we the
new brother and sister you create during the program. Within the first few hours of arriving at
CLP you already know everyone's name and hobbies and you are already starting to make
connections with these people that you just met. It wasn't easy for me to be able to put myself out
there like that. Im was very shy and timid and was always so self aware of we people might think of
me if i say the wrong thing. But i was determined to change. I was determined to be more
comfortable in my own body and to be more confident. So when it came my turn to introduce
myself to the group all i wanted to do was show that i was confident, but i didn't. I talked really
soft and was nervous and after it was my turn i was just praying no one was looking at me. All i
could think was just how much i failed, but their was one thing keeping me positive and that was
that there was nowhere to go but up. I watched for the next 30 minutes. Everyone so freely
introducing themselves and showing how confident they are in their own skin. But i soon come to
find out that almost everyone there was dealing with the same problem i was, they just didn't show it.
The next week and a half we would spend all day lifeguard training. Five hours in the classroom
and 5 hours in the water everyday. So being with the same group of people for 10 hours a day, you
tend to figure things out about people and really get to know each other. One thing you learn in
school is that one lifeguard can't do it all. It takes a team and this team are your peers and after i
figured that out i knew i was going to have to get out of my comfort zone and make friends and
communicate. It wasn't easy but nothing in life is easy. But slowly and surely i became more
comfortable and created 37 new

Examples Of Words Of Encouragement Essay
At some point in life, we may need a little push to wake us up, a little spark to brighten up our life

words or encouraging words can give people the external strength to move on and not give up.
Some people will go through life changing experience because of your encouragement. For example,
A may not be brave enough to take part in a competition although A is very talented. B, who knows
that A has the talent and potential, encourages A to enter the competition by saying the right words

without craving for money. This is what I would like the leaders of today to incorporate into their

end of his day. He only cared about whether or not he did something for the citizens of the nation.

A Positive Perspective On Life Essay
It's not always easy to keep a positive perspective on life. Most of us choose to use positive
phrases and statements to try and forget about all of the negativity that life throws at us and to feel
good about ourselves, while other people send a diseased ripple effect of the complete opposite.
Have you ever thought about giving up; on not only school but some other things and maybe just
life in general? If yes then you are definitely not alone, and if not well then good for you not
everyone is as fortunate as you. Unfortunately for most of us, giving up at this point in time is not
really an option anymore. We have all come too far to then just give up and fall by the wayside.
Why do some seemingly bright people not do as well as could be expected, while other less
fortunate people reach their dreams and goals in life? Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "The future
belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams". Which basically means that if you can
dream it, you can do it. Don't let anyone else tell you what you can and can't do. You are who you
become – your future and what you do with it is up to you and only you.

Lessons of Life Essay
All through life, we experience various occasions when decision–making become necessary. A
number of them present themselves in difficult forms and at crucial points. Most of the verdict
we take will eventually figure and describe our track of lives. These are what we refer to as lessons
of life. Choices never present themselves in an easy way. In some instance we are always forced to
pay a price to achieve something. This implies that we are trading for an outcome we are seeking.
Period, actions and situation can help us learn a lot about our environment, ourselves and people in

However, Life can then be said to be the conditional value of human affairs or individual's manner
of living, it is the admiration of one's condition, personality and behaviour. It can be the measured
by the collective value of each affair in distinctive class or type, and considering whichever way or
the nature of living one indulges in, either at the low–level or high level or the good or evil etiquette
of living. According to Timothy Titcomb in his book "Lessons in life" he noted that there are so
many outrageous things that have been practiced in the family and moods are the excuses being
given for such action, because, moods are the most indefensible things generally (Titcomb, 6).
Additionally, Titcomb stated that Living creatures can thus in a level become the masters of their
mood (Titcomb, 7).
John Cleese once quoted that "We all work in two contrasting modes, which might be described as
open and closed". In view of this, he expatiated that "the open mode is more relaxed, more receptive,
more democratic, more playful and more humorous. While, the closed mode is tighter, more rigid,
hierarchical, and more tunnel–vision. He further elaborated that most people spend most of their time
in the closed mode"
Consequently, each person at some point in life asks some question about life. Some ask if they
actually want to live the kind of life they are experiencing, while some will ask other questions like

Someone who inspires me
There are always the people in our lives that can be the heroes in many ways, but my life's hero
will always be my mom. She influences my life since I born until now and also sacrifice a lot in
her lifetime to make my life and my sibling's lives better. She love us unconditionally, I have
become the person I am today because of her. I adore her very much, not just because she is my
mom, also such an amazing person with a gold heart, my best friend for life, an advisor, kind,
respectful and strong person. I am not her only children, I have a big sister and a little brother but
I am my mom's favorite children. My mom taught me how to be kind and loving but not to allow

Seeing my mom crying was a pain for me, I cried deeply and apologized. She smiled at me and
told me, I forgive you but do not do that again. She has a kindly heart to tolerate my mistakes, and
she gives me endless love but asks for nothing in return. When I won the lottery (The green

don't see myself living far from where my mom live. My sister told her, but I did not know that

Essay about What is life?
"What is life?" The question has been asked innumerable times but has been answered to the
satisfaction of few. Science is based on the experience that nature gives intelligent answers to
intelligent questions. To senseless questions, nature gives senseless answers – or no answers at all. If
nature has never provided an answer to this question, perhaps something is wrong with the question.
The question is wrong indeed. It has no sense, for life in itself does not exist. No one has seen or
measured life. Life is always linked to material systems; what man sees and measures are living
systems of matter. Life is not a thing to be studied; rather, "being alive" is a quality of some
physical systems.
A look at the living world reveals an...show more content...
The more complex the system, the more complex its qualities. Organs may be built from cells; from
organs may come an individual organism, such as a human being. Individuals in turn may be
combined to form societies or populations, which again have their own rules. At each level of
complexity are new qualities not present in the simpler levels. The study of each level yields new
information for the biologist.
The history of biology has been marked by a penetration into ever smaller dimensions. In the
sixteenth century, Vesalius was dependent on his unaided eyesight for his study of the human body.
In the following century, the optical microscope led to the discovery of many new details of
structure. Marcello Malpighi observed the capillary vessels that complete the cycle of blood
circulation and showed that even such tiny insects as the silkworm have an intricate internal
structure. Anton van Leeuwenhoek described blood cells and the compound eyes of insects. Robert
Hooke described the cellular structure of plants.
As microscopes were improved, more and more details of structure were described. By the
nineteenth century, it was becoming clear that all complex organisms are composed of
semi–independent units called cells. The major structural features of cells were established. Bacteria
were discovered and studied.
In this century, the electron microscope has taken the scientist down to molecular dimensions, and
he has learned to observe with x–rays as

  • 2. Essay about Self-Motivation is Empowering Motivation is a very strong tool we can use to get further in life and to achieve our dreams and goals. Setting goals for ourselves is something that I consider to be very important, I believe in always pushing myself further and further in life, not only physically but mentally as well. We all have different things or tools we can use to motivate us towards our end goals. In order for us to stay motivated we have to have a goal and be driven towards achieving that goal. For me, self–motivation is empowering. Finding something that I enjoy and love to do and setting the final goal of achieving it. My main goal that I have set right now is to work towards finishing my degree. My motivation behind this is to be able to get a better job and...show more content... I am learning to take each assignment and task one at a time. Simply complete what the task at hand is and then move on to the next. I feel by doing so, I will be able to complete my degree along with knowing that I have faith in myself to push myself and motivate myself along the way. By going back to school and getting my degree I am opening up potentially lots of doors for myself in the future. I am setting a good example for my boys and that no matter what age you are, it is never too late to go back to school and further your education. Education is the key to opening up positions in the workplace that someone without an education would not be able to pursue. The benefits will far out way the time and work that it will take for me to complete my degree. This will be something that I can be proud of and prove to myself and others that no matter how hard the goal may seem or how long it may take you to reach the end results, it is always worth it to follow your dreams. I am extremely motivated to accomplish this goal for myself. Motivation is the key to succeeding our goals and dreams. You can do anything that you set your mind to as long as you continue to motivate yourself and others around you. Keeping a positive attitude and having an end goal in mind to work towards, you will be able to find the motivation Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Essay on the power of positive thinking "There is nothing on earth that you cannot have–once you have mentally accepted the fact that you can have it." –Robert Collier Perhaps the most important mental and spiritual principle ever discovered is that you become what you think about most of the time. Your outer world reflects your inner world. You can tell the inner condition of a person by looking at the outer conditions of his or her life. And it cannot be otherwise. Your mind is extraordinarily powerful. Your thoughts control and determine almost everything that happens to you. You are a complex bundle of thoughts, feelings, attitudes, desires, images, fears, hopes, doubts, opinions and ambitions, each of them constantly changing, sometimes from second to second. Your ...show more content... You do not believe what you see, but rather you see what you already believe. The most harmful beliefs that you can have are your self–limiting beliefs. These are beliefs about you and your potential that hold you back. Most of them are not true. Most of them are the result of information you have accepted without question, often from when you were young. If you believe yourself to be limited in an area then that will become your truth. The Law of Attraction says that you invariably attract into your life the people, ideas, opportunities, and circumstances in harmony with your dominant thoughts. This law explains why it is that you don't have to be concerned where your good is going to come from. If you can keep your mind clearly focussed on what you want, and refrain from thinking about what you don't want, you will attract everything you need to achieve your goals, exactly when you are ready. Change your thinking and you change your life. Bertrand Russell, the English philosopher, once said, "The very best proof that something can be done is that others have already done it." In the New Testament, Jesus taught the way to measure the truth of any principle: "By their fruits, ye shall know them." The only question you need to ask about any idea is, "Does it work?" does it bring about the results that you desire?

  • 5. A Struggle that Leads to Growth Essay A Struggle that Leads to Growth We all live in the same planet, yet some people hide their faces or either moving away from their struggles and some is positive and confident to overcome their obstacles. Anyone who faces with a struggle in their life is in a continual battle and only the one who stands firmly through all the barriers will be victorious in the end. I think that even with all the power and understanding we have, if one gives up their life simply because of their struggle, then that person also lacks hope and courage to fight against their barrier and he or she definitely fails. The struggle in our life is like a massive bricked wall in the course of your life, we can either choose...show more content... As I enter high school, my perspectives to life broaden, and once again what I sought for and the definition of my personal struggle varies too. Knowledge to me in high school is not limited in the eight specific courses we take but nevertheless the significance of wisdom and striving to expand our global perspectives also becomes another step in shattering the brick wall in my life. However, we must know when to retreat when necessary because if we wish to advance and triumph over our struggle as rapidly as possible, this may result in the lost of your battle. I truly believe this simply because a struggle is an obstacle in our life, we should enjoy the challenges that we're face with rather than quickly overcoming your struggle. Now I begin to understand how to manipulate my struggles correctly so therefore it will become a solution in the future. My struggle symbolizes a compass, it correctly shows the path of my life and it serves as a force of motivation that pushes me to prevail over my struggle. Nobody will know what will happen to us in the future; certainly we will not know what struggles we are faced with in the future. My struggle for knowledge and wisdom certainly has not been fully achieved yet and I believe that this struggle is still in a far distance. This is simply because nobody can fully master the knowledge and wisdom Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Personal Essay: What Motivates You? What motivates you? In a small part, every aspect of my life motivates me to strive for my dreams. My family; parents, brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews and nieces motivate me and push me harder to achieve my goals and aspirations. Me being the first in my family to graduate high school, and enter into college is a tremendous amount of pressure. I want to be able to prove to them that they can reach their dreams no matter how old or young, if they are determined. Mainly, I want to show them that everything is obtainable if you work for it. My boyfriend motivates me to be the best verision of myself that I can be, we both chose to go to SFA together, after I stated I wasn't interested in going to college. He motivates me to be better, faster, stronger and more determined. He teaches me to set high goals and reach them. Lastly, my coworkers motivate me to continue to improve my already strong work ethic. As their manager, they depend on me to teach them how to succeed in our work environment. Having people look up to me motivates me to no end. I love to set examples and be a leader to show people anything is possible. Using the table on page 237, name 3 personality characteristics you possess and explain why? Without being redundant, three of the personality characteristics that I pride myself in possessing are as follows: Being thoughtful: I consider myself as thoughtful because I am constantly working on making peoples' day. • 7. The Story of My Life Essay This explains the beginning of my life all the way to the end of my life. My life from the beginning was very fun as I grew up living with my mom's friend and my friend. But there were a lot of fights and I was very hyper back then. I have ADHD so back then when I was little; I was very hyper and wouldn't stop moving around the place. I always was annoying back then and never seemed to get my homework done at school. I was born at Kaiser Hospital during the year 1996. The first place I lived was on the street Via Harriet and was right next to a train. It was always noisy when the train passed by because it shook the house and scared all the animals. It wasn't the best place to live, but we eventually moved to the hills, I don't remember...show more content... Overall I know that I'm going to graduate because I'm pushing hard and all I need to finish is my Cyber High and keep up my grades and I will graduate. I want to go to Chabot College because it's the closest place to go to. I am planning to get my associates degree then transfer to Cal State East Bay University. I don't exactly know the requirements of classes to get into Cal State, but as long as I get my AA degree I should be fine. I am focused on technology and computers; I like to choose classes that can be similar to wiring or soldering. I am not that sure if I would be more focused on computers or wiring, I think an Internship might help me out. My career would be Technician or Electrician because I'm focused on electricity and wanting to discover what would happen without getting electrocuted. I'm still unsure if I just want to work on physical components on the computer. I used to work on computers a lot, but it got boring and I can't do it as great now. Soldering is interesting for me because I get to repair broken wires, being able to strip a wire. When striping a wire, you get to know how the wire is connected. I think a life event for me is to grab my master's degree, which is what I'm focused on. That's like the best degree to get, but it's really difficult to receive. I wouldn't like going to years and years of education, but it's totally worth it. Getting a higher degree affects the amount Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. The Meaning of Life In Literature Essay Almost every human being is faced with the philosophy of their meaning of life; why they were placed in the setting they are in and what they feel the need to accomplish in their lifetime. Because this question is such a broad, vastly fully unanswerable one, it can be argued that characters in fiction often try and find meaning based on the setting, or environment they find themselves in. Characters might often find themselves on journeys to sudden epiphany, typically in their immediate or close setting in hopes to answer that big question about themselves. Having said that, the meaning of life is always perceived on the basis of opinion, on what the character finds true to themselves, or what we as readers find true to them. Some come to...show more content... Not the sea. You belong here, in this world of air and fire, you were born to walk on this land. All the words above the sea belong to you' " (85). Peri soon found herself no longer just a maid at the local inn, but by a new meaning became a metaphorical gateway between the two worlds for the two princes to regain their true capacities, for no one can find meaning, happiness and fulfillment until they are where they are meant to be. Without that, any journey to epiphany would become a never ending one, answers would always be out of ones reach, as if they were alway trapped. We always try to seek out that someone who may not themselves know the answers to any given question but we continue to search for answers in them because of a basic sense of safety that is eluded about them, for life itself is about questions, no one can go through it knowing all the answers. Peri would be that someone, a mentor for the sea prince who knew nothing more then his captivity in the sea, point him in a direction for him to find out answers about himself. As found from Sartre in Evolution and the Big Questions, "man is nothing else then what he makes of himself" (36). We always have control over our choices made, like as Peri had chosen to hex the sea. When the sea presented back possible meaning, she chose to pursue it; she was where she was supposed to be, hence her journey would lead to answers. Nick also inspires me to be very grateful for what I have. Nick is extremely grateful for his foot that allows him to do more things. He can walk, drive a car, and much more. He also tells others to not compare yourself with people who are better looking, richer, an have more than you. In the article, "3 Reasons To Be Inspired By Nick Vujicic, A Man With No Arms And legs" by Shaen Yeo, it states, "He explains that spending life comparing oneself to others who are better, richer, more beautiful is bound to breed discontent. This teaches me to be grateful for what I have instead of comparing myself to others. Because Nick Vujicic inspires me, I consider him my role model. I love encouraging others and helping them. When I get older, I would love to take helping others to the next level. Speaking at churches (just like Nick speaks at mine) about self esteem and your importance in life has been something I am interested in. During this time many people have realized my mother's giving and kindness for her community. She is always willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to help make a difference in a student's life. However, her occupation is just the start of her giving. She is also a community leader through her second career as a pastor. She has only been a preacher for 6 years however; she has been able to do a lot for her church and her community during this time. She is always "bringing her work home." Like a good communitarian she does everything to help better the community. My mother has only three children but has thousands of adopted children. She loves all her children the same even the adopted ones. A good example of this is what occurred during my last trip home. I came home because of the illness of my grandmother. • 13. Reflection On Life Change In My Life We all have life changing events happen in our lives. Sometime it's just a certain moment of a day or maybe sequence of events that happen over a few days. For me i went on i life changing 3 week journey to help find myself and discover how i want to be. I would like to introduce you to the CLP (counselor Leadership program). Here we are trained to become better leaders, Trained to be lifeguards, and go through i life changing experience climbing a 13,000 ft mountain we the new brother and sister you create during the program. Within the first few hours of arriving at CLP you already know everyone's name and hobbies and you are already starting to make connections with these people that you just met. It wasn't easy for me to be able to put myself out there like that. Im was very shy and timid and was always so self aware of we people might think of me if i say the wrong thing. But i was determined to change. I was determined to be more comfortable in my own body and to be more confident. So when it came my turn to introduce myself to the group all i wanted to do was show that i was confident, but i didn't. I talked really soft and was nervous and after it was my turn i was just praying no one was looking at me. All i could think was just how much i failed, but their was one thing keeping me positive and that was that there was nowhere to go but up. I watched for the next 30 minutes. Everyone so freely introducing themselves and showing how confident they are in their own skin. But i soon come to find out that almost everyone there was dealing with the same problem i was, they just didn't show it. The next week and a half we would spend all day lifeguard training. Five hours in the classroom and 5 hours in the water everyday. So being with the same group of people for 10 hours a day, you tend to figure things out about people and really get to know each other. One thing you learn in school is that one lifeguard can't do it all. It takes a team and this team are your peers and after i figured that out i knew i was going to have to get out of my comfort zone and make friends and communicate. It wasn't easy but nothing in life is easy. But slowly and surely i became more comfortable and created 37 new Get more content on HelpWriting.net

It means that they have left an impact on your life that has moved you so much that you make it your quest to pass on that impact to others, so that they are inspired to do the same. This is what I would like the leaders of today to incorporate into their lives. This is the main reason Jamsetji thrived. He did not care about the size of his wallet at the end of his day. He only cared about whether or not he did something for the citizens of the nation. • 18. A Positive Perspective On Life Essay It's not always easy to keep a positive perspective on life. Most of us choose to use positive phrases and statements to try and forget about all of the negativity that life throws at us and to feel good about ourselves, while other people send a diseased ripple effect of the complete opposite. Have you ever thought about giving up; on not only school but some other things and maybe just life in general? If yes then you are definitely not alone, and if not well then good for you not everyone is as fortunate as you. Unfortunately for most of us, giving up at this point in time is not really an option anymore. We have all come too far to then just give up and fall by the wayside. Why do some seemingly bright people not do as well as could be expected, while other less fortunate people reach their dreams and goals in life? Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams". Which basically means that if you can dream it, you can do it. Don't let anyone else tell you what you can and can't do. You are who you become – your future and what you do with it is up to you and only you. On February the first 2012 all of us started our first day of our five–year journey in Waiopehu College. These past five years have not been easy for me. Additionally, Titcomb stated that Living creatures can thus in a level become the masters of their mood (Titcomb, 7). John Cleese once quoted that "We all work in two contrasting modes, which might be described as open and closed". In view of this, he expatiated that "the open mode is more relaxed, more receptive, more democratic, more playful and more humorous. While, the closed mode is tighter, more rigid, hierarchical, and more tunnel–vision. He further elaborated that most people spend most of their time in the closed mode" Consequently, each person at some point in life asks some question about life. Science is based on the experience that nature gives intelligent answers to intelligent questions. To senseless questions, nature gives senseless answers – or no answers at all. If nature has never provided an answer to this question, perhaps something is wrong with the question. The question is wrong indeed. It has no sense, for life in itself does not exist. Individuals in turn may be combined to form societies or populations, which again have their own rules. At each level of complexity are new qualities not present in the simpler levels. The study of each level yields new information for the biologist. The history of biology has been marked by a penetration into ever smaller dimensions. In the sixteenth century, Vesalius was dependent on his unaided eyesight for his study of the human body. In the following century, the optical microscope led to the discovery of many new details of structure. Marcello Malpighi observed the capillary vessels that complete the cycle of blood circulation and showed that even such tiny insects as the silkworm have an intricate internal structure. Anton van Leeuwenhoek described blood cells and the compound eyes of insects. Robert Hooke described the cellular structure of plants. As microscopes were improved, more and more details of structure were described. By the nineteenth century, it was becoming clear that all complex organisms are composed of semi–independent units called cells. The major structural features of cells were established. Bacteria were discovered and studied. In this century, the electron microscope has taken the scientist down to molecular dimensions, and he has learned to observe with x–rays as Get more content on HelpWriting.net
