The purpose of this meeting is to explain service changes effective
Monday, May 5, 2014.
Silence all cell phones.
Be considerate of meeting attendees and COTA staff.
When it is your turn to make a comment or ask a question about
COTA’s service changes, remain at your seat and we will call upon
you.
Comments and questions are limited to two minutes per person.
Participants are encouraged to complete comment cards.
Ask one question at a time so the appropriate COTA staff member
may address your comment.

Line 1 Cleveland (Weekday)
Service is now available between Downtown and SR-161 at a 12
minute frequency. Fewer trips will travel north of SR-161. Travel
times have been adjusted to reflect this change.
Line 2 N. High (Weekday)
To adjust for changes in student ridership during the summer, a
seasonal schedule is now available. Travel times and trip start
times are modified to allow faster travel times through OSU’s
campus.
Line 2 N. High (Sunday)
Travel times are adjusted to improve on-time performance.

Bus Stop Service Improvement Project
The following were analyzed for May 2014:
Line 3 W. Mound/Northwest Blvd (Local)
Line 6 Sullivant/Mt. Vernon (Local)
All service will be discontinued from stops that are removed as a
part of this project.
Bus lines that share stops with the above lines may also be
affected by bus stop changes as part of this project.

COTA update
COTA.com website is being redesigned to be more friendly for mobile
users and to provide access to real-time bus arrival information.
COTA’s South and North Terminals Downtown are undergoing
refurbishment to accommodate CNG buses.
COTA is undertaking a Transit System Review
First round of public meetings were held the week of March 17
Second round of public meetings will be held in late May and early
June to review the proposed final bus network design
Transit System Review will be complete September 2014

COTA update
Cleveland Avenue Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project Development:
Project Development activities for the proposed BRT line are
underway, which include conducting an environmental clearance
study and preliminary engineering/design.
Public meetings are scheduled for April 9, 17 and 30.
Additional public meetings, including neighborhood corridor
meetings and other public outreach activities, will be scheduled
throughout the year through October 2014.
