2. Cold:
As we are filming in the underground parking garage, the heat, or lack there of, is lacking; making it very cold.
This cold can be a problem when filming as some of the character’s costumes call for clothing such as just
T-Shirts and clothing that isn’t very warm. If we did get too cold, this could result in things such as hypothermia
or pneumonia and would likely stop us being able to film for a long period of time
To combat this, we only film in the parking garage for less than an hour so that the cold isn’t too unbearable. I
also added that my character, who in some scenes where a T-Shirt, wears a coat when sitting down and talking.
3. Being Locked In The Parking Garage
Being locked underground Is an issue as we wouldn’t be able to get out, meaning the cold would be more
damaging. This could again result in the cold being damaging and lack of food/ water could result in death but
we would likely not be down there for a long enough period of time for it to be damaging.
To combat this, we tell Simon how long we need to be down there and settle on a time where he can safely let
us out without being down there too long. Having phones is also a good way to contact him and let him know
when we are ready to leave as he is the only person with a key to unlock the entrance/exit.
4. Dragging Across The Floor
One shot in the project requires that Johns character gets dragged across the floor by a clone. This is a problem
as the floor is made of concrete meaning that his body could be injured by the dragging which could even
result in him bleeding.
To prevent this from happening, John wears a coat in the scene he is being dragged in so that the friction does
not damage his skin.
5. Fake Violence
There are two shots in the project that feature fake violence, one being Nicole tackling John to the floor and
the other John tackling me to the floor. Both of these incidents could result in either members of the attack
being hurt by hitting the floor hard or by clashing with the other person.
To prevent this, we make sure to lay down soft cushioning for the landing, such as coats, and make sure that
each individual is not tackled too hard to prevent serious injury.
