3. Platform
The Columbia County infrastructure can support the following devices:
Windows based devices and Apple devices.
Chrome devices have been having problems connecting to our network.
The county has provided all students and teachers with Microsoft 365
accounts.
Printing from personal devices is not possible at school.
4. Accommodations
Student that do not have their own device can:
● Use computers in the classroom
● Use computers, laptops or iPads in the media center
● Use computers in the computer labs
● Use devices that teachers can check out from the media center - laptops
or iPads
5. Student Grouping
● Students can be grouped in pairs, or in groups of 3 to 4 students.
● If a student does not have a BYOT device and they are grouped with a
student that has a device, the device owner should be the one using the
device.
● Students without BYOT devices should be using school devices during
grouping.
● Using web-based technology tools and Microsoft 365 are recommended to
make collaboration, activities, and working easier when accessed by
different types of devices.
