Extreme close up of artist eyes—
heavely done up with ‗gothic‘ eye make
up. Camera will gradually zoom out to
a close up of face- fog starts to
become clearly visible in the
background. Gradually continues to
zoom out into a long shot- once camera
has reached this position shot blurs
for a split second before coming into
focus. The band become clearly
visible.
Band stood ‗centre stage‘ in an
exposed area of forest surrounded by
thousand of acres of trees. Time of
day- Nightfall. Floor covered in
glistening candles surrounding the
artist and band.
Candles and moonlight will provide
lighting for a melancholic setting.
Cross cut edit- camera switches to
birdseye shot of forest- pans around
before cutting back to long shot of
artists. During pan, moon becomes
visible in shot.
Song intro begins as soon as we
see ECU of eyes and ends at LS
of band.
Introduction―No, I can't take one more step
towards you

NARR- Female artist has hurt
face. Stood in a set position
infront of microphone and stand
preforming song- body language
must show anger in her
movements. Band positioned
behind artist, in an arched
shape- stood up playing
instruments ‗menacingly.‘
During birdseye shot of forest,
song continues to play over the
top before returning to the
artist/band who continue to
‗perform‘ the song.
NARR- When shot cuts back to
artist/band they continue to
perform as before.

Previous scene cuts to next scene
instantaneously.
A forest set ablaze fills the shot.
Silhouette of artist becomes visible
from right of screen.
Track and Dolly will follow artist
from right to left of screen in a long
shot. Artist stays as silhouette
throughout whole scene- creating an
enigmatic feeling.
Lighting will come from the ‗fire
effect‘.
Chorus of the song. Visible to
audience that artist is ‗signing‘
it.
―And who do you think you are?
Runnin' 'round leaving scars
Collecting your jar of hearts
And tearing love apart
You're gonna catch a cold
From the ice inside your soul
So don't come back for me

NARR- Female artist moves in a
ghostly manner from the right of
forest all the way to the leftsmall strides. Painfilled face
whilst singing. Staring
starightaead into the distance
blivious of the fire.
Fire added on in post-production as
an after effect.

Camera zooms in to an extreme close up
of a single flame of fire behind
silhouette of artist beforedissolving
into next scene- when camera gradually
zooms out, rows of candles are
revealed in a close up. Shot blurs
before coming back into focus.
Camera cuts to next scene of artist
and band at eye level in a long shot
in the first forest setting. Camera
pans around them fast in a circular
motion (x5). When shot is at the back
of artist/band,miles of forest is
visible. Candles blur during pan.
During dissolving scene music is
heard over the top.
―I hear you're asking all around
If I am anywhere to be found
But I have grown too strong
To ever fall back in your arms…‖
NARR-During pan scence when music
pase picks up female artist begins
to move more ‗wildly‘. Body
language is menacing and angrymust be clear to audience she wants
‗revenge‘. Female jumping around,
mimicking shouting towards camera,
grabs microphone off stand and
moves around more ‗angrily‘.
Artist continues to sing:
―And who do you think you are?

Camera zooms into close up of female
artist face. Single tear strolls down
face whilst singing. Camera begins to
slowly move down artist body before
reaching feet to reveal candles.
Camera zooms into extreme close of a
single candle flame before zooming out
to reveal a lantern (continuity
ediditing). Camera continues to zoom
out to reveal a sky filled with
lanterns moving upwards. Camera moves
upwards to a clear shot of moon.
During close up of face artist
continues to sing:
―And who do you think you are?
Runnin' 'round leaving scars
Collecting your jar of hearts
And tearing love apart‖
NARR- Close up of hurt/upset face.
Single tear strolls down face.
If artist not able to produce tear
it can be edited on later.
Candle/lantern scene song still
heard continuously:
―You're gonna catch a cold
From the ice inside your soul
So don't come back for me
Don't come back at all…‖

Previous scene fades into a long shot
of artist sat at a piano at the end of
a pier on a lake in secluded area.
Lanterns and moon clearly visible in
the background shining brightly.
Lighting will be pitch black with only
the lanters and moon lighting shot.
Artist plays piano whilst singing:
―And who do you think you are?
Runnin' 'round leaving scars
Collecting your jar of hearts
Tearing love apart
You're gonna catch a cold
From the ice inside your soul
Don't come back for me
Don't come back at all‖
NARR- Playing piano whilst singing.
Last lyric of song continues to
play as scene fades out to finish.
Pans around artist (x2) before
stopping at a front shot of her face.
Camera gradually zooms in before
completely fading out.
―Who do you think you are?

NARR- Female artist continues to
sing into the camera and as it
fades out…
