2. My Beginning I have started my journey on the side of a mountain.

5. Erosion Erosion moves me from one place to another. It is often a slow process caused by water.

6. Landslide Sometimes it is a fast process, like with a landslide.

7. Runoff River water that doesn't soak in the ground is called runoff.

8. Transport The river transported, or carried, me down the mountain very slowly.

9. Transport The river transported me farther and the river got wider and carved valleys.

10. Deposition The river carried me until it slowed down and dropped me off to find a point bar.

11. Deposition The river could have carried me and dropped me off to form a delta where the river meets the ocean.
