A poll of 780 registered voters in Hawaii found that 65% think foods containing GMOs should be labeled, while 24% do not think labeling is needed and 11% are unsure. Support for labeling was highest among women, younger age groups, Native Hawaiians, those with lower incomes, Democrats, and residents of Kauai.
