Sandra de Ovando was educated at the French Lycee in Mexico and then completed a college degree
in Hotel Management in Paris. Afterwards, she traveled through Europe and Asia where she discovered
exotic flowers, plants and fruit. Her travels brought her to New York, where she opened her first shop,
combining her passion for flowers with her refined management and customer service skills. Her
phenomenal success led to the opening of Ovando in June, 2003.
