My name is Chelsey Broughman and I am a recent graduate from the interior design program at Bowling Green State
University, in Ohio. As my college career came to a closing, I decided to move across the country to broaden my
horizons and expand my opportunities. Striving to gain knowledge and experience, I am excited to enter my field of
work.
As a new designer, I am constantly seeking inspiration; drawing from nature, as well as human growth and
development. As a LEED Green Associate, our environment, both built and natural, have become key components
in my design strategies. I have learned the importance of effective teamwork and communication, and I strive for quality
conversation and understanding as my primary source for efficient design development. After an internship, working at
the University of Toledo, I have found a passion in commercial design. Working on projects throughout their campus, as
well as in their hospital, the University of Toledo Medical Center, gave me a very diverse design opportunity.
I am interested in the opportunity to gain experience in commercial interiors. I really enjoyed working in both
educational and medical institutions and would love to join a firm with a diverse design portfolio! With a career goal
working in large scale commercial design, your professional guidance would make tremendous strides towards my
future endeavors. With my education, experience, and passion for design, I believe that my creativity and determination
