I have recently retired from General Motors. Although the opportunity of retirement was good, at my
current age of fifty two, total retirement is not part of my near future. I would like to continue my
professional career and help another viable company with my knowledge, background and
experiences.
I am considering other options of employment and opportunities at various companies and institutions.
During my thirty plus years, I have worked in many different capacities, appointments, and
responsibilities. Along the way I have attained many goals, I look forward to the chance and the
challenge to help any company work toward achieving their goals.
With my past experience and education I feel confident both have prepared me well for various
positions and my abilities will enable me to contribute significantly toward the objectives of the
company.
When you review the enclosed resume, it will show my background includes a Masters in Business
Administration degree, a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, along with my past professional and
project experiences. I have worked in the engineering/construction field my whole life. I have vast
knowledge of capital improvement ventures associated with structural buildings, site development,
environmental regulations, utilities- power/energy/steam/hvac distribution, IT infrastructure and
manufacturing processes. I can demonstrate technical and professional skills in job-related areas
required. I am a very mechanically inclined hands-on person and will get the job done right the first
time.
I am a people oriented person, with the appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods
needed to work effectively with business partners to meet required mutual goals. I maintain a high
level of independent judgment and a considerable amount of creativity. I can handle a variety of non-
recurring special assignments that lead to solutions of unusual and difficult problems.
In addition, you will find me to be a well-organized, detail-oriented team member with excellent
analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. I have a strong desire to learn and thrive on
new challenges using an innovative approach for new improvements.
