2. Why do people live in certain areas
of Asia?
Take Japan for example, people live in Japan for many reasons,
such as the technology.
Technology in Japan is very advanced. Japan even made a
robot that can make pancakes! Many of the devises we use today
are from Japan. For example, computers, TV, automobiles, and
ipods, ipads, and iphones are all produced in Japan. Production in
Japan is easier for American companies because labor costs less.
In many factories in Japan, the workers actually have beds there so
they don’t have to waste time going home to sleep. They just wake
up and go back to work.
3. Why do people choose to live in
certain areas of Asia?
People might choose to live in certain areas of Asia because of
the resources.
For example, People might want to live in Japan for the fishing
opportunities. They have an advantage because Japan is an island
surrounded by the waters of the Pacific Ocean.
But the disadvantage of living by the ocean is
that natural disasters can occur more often than
other countries in Asia.
4. How does where people live in Asia
affect how they live?
It can affect the people in Japan because
since they live on an island, there is more
of a chance for a natural disaster. For
example, the tsunami in 2011 was
devastating. Over 15,000 people died in
the accident. By the natural disasters, this
has caused the population to decrease
which has affected Japan.
