OBJECTIVES Following this activity, students will be able to:
Utilize Prezi in order to have a better organize the
relationships among Greek Gods and Goddesses.
Sequence events using a timeline.
Research aspects of Greek mythology and communicate
their findings to the rest of the class.
MATERIALS Interactive E-board
Computers with internet access
Prezi
Z is for Zeus book
Z is for Zeus assessment sheet
PROCEDURES 1. Have students brainstorm some questions as a class.
Write them on the board.
2. Read the book Z is for Zeus as a class. Explain that the
relationship among Gods and Goddesses can be
complicated so to keep track they should jot down some
notes.

3. Have the students create Prezi presentations about the
relationships among the Greek Gods and Goddesses.
4. On that Prezi have students work in groups to answer the
questions they brainstormed at the beginning of the
lesson. This collaboration will help them to be more
comfortable working together. Have each group present
their answers to the rest of the class.
5. Give the students Z is for Zeus assessment sheet. This has
all of the Gods and Goddesses that the book contained in
a matching form with names on one side and
descriptions on the other.
