Examples 1 and 2 ,[object Object],[object Object],Break apart the -3  7 -21 Break down 84 into two factors. Keep breaking down the factors until all prime numbers or perfect roots come out.

Tip: When breaking down variables that are in square roots put them in groups of 2 because the square root of a square if just that number or variable. ,[object Object],[object Object]

Multiply and Simplify 1 st break each square root apart and then simplify your perfect square roots and any roots that occur twice…remember they become that number out of the square root ,[object Object],[object Object]
