help you overcome a barrier to employment instead
of accepting Temporary Cash Assistance.
No Work Requirement
Funds do not count toward the 48 month TCA lifetime limit

- Eviction Notice - Cut-off Notice
- Cancellation Notice - Repossession Notice
- Car repair - three estimates - Lack of child care

Are employed & receiving earnings,
Receive a reduced TCA benefit,
Have received 6 consecutive months of TCA,
Expect to remain employed for at least 6 months, &
Take a one-time $1000.00 payment instead of TCA.

25. Responsibilities…
As a condition of eligibility for
Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA),
you are required by My Florida Families
to complete the
Welfare Transition Program
Work Registration and Orientation.
Failure to complete all elements of the process will
result in the denial of your TCA application.
26. Responsibilities…
If YOU choose to accept TCA,
YOU are required to complete up to
40 hours each week in an approved activity.

Below are the steps of the TCA approval / WTP engagement process:
1. You must complete the online TCA Applicant Activities by accessing:
https://osstclient.deo.myflorida.com
2. Register in Employ Florida Marketplace: www.employflorida.com
and provide your work history & employment skills
3. My Florida Families completes your TCA eligibility determination
4. My Florida Families will send you a Notice of Mandatory Activity &
Appointment Notice
5. CareerSource Southwest Florida will send you a letter requesting you
complete an Initial Assessment and attend an Initial Appointment
6. You must complete an Initial Assessment and attend an Initial
Appointment with a WTP staff to start YOUR iCareer activities
